This new kid on the CBD circuit still has some ways to go in terms of getting their act down pat — they were flustered and out of several items when we visited two weeks into their opening — but we foresee a bright future once things are up and running smoothly. Their Avocado Toast ($5.50), a simple but effective combination of lightly warmed sourdough, sliced avocado and a generous sprinkle of chilli pepper, is something we'll be returning for time and again. Add a crumble of feta cheese ($1) for some added oomph. They also serve Acai Bowls (from $6.90), and their salads are quite something. Pacific Rim ($13.50) features a perfectly baked salmon fillet, served atop a punchy quinoa salad and basil aioli. Burpple Tastemaker Xing Wei Chua also had good things to say about New Farm ($12) — moist, slow-cooked chicken served on the same quinoa salad base. Grab a hit of their robust yet well-balanced coffee while you're here, their opening promo sees all espresso-based drinks going at just $2. Pro tip: There are only 10 seats in this cosy nook of a space, so either beat the lunch crowd, or order to go.

The Yuzu Grilled Salmon Don was one of my two favourites (the Hamburg's the other) from amongst the new rice bowls at today's tasting for @grilllosg.
What clinched it for me, besides the moist and tender fish, were the slices of in-house pickled green apple and ginger. They may look inconsequential next to the salmon and baby corn but when you bite into them, you'll discover what an integral part their refreshing light zing plays. Such a clever complement for the salmon indeed.
I can already imagine what a hit this rice bowl would be. With the ladies especially.

As a huge fan of beautifully cooked eggs, imagine my disappointment when I opened the box to find an already broken egg yolk spilling across the salad :(
But I can only imagine that it is because it was broken during delivery. This benefit of the doubt shall also be extended as to why the hamburg patty was unfortunately dry and hard. BUT that being said, what it lacked in the texture department, it made up for it in terms of its flavour. The meat was so flavourful, as was the beautiful delicious sauce drizzled (or rather, generously poured) over the fluffy rice. It is one bowl I wouldn't hesitate to eat again for sure, except this time, I'll eat it on-site.

This is a no brainer. I loved the meaty flavors and it went really well with the home made pasta. It's worth getting the home made pasta. Love the dedication behind every dish served here. Can't wait to be have this again!

Super niceee. 2nd super yummy dish is Moonlight Horfun, the texture is great and everything just right. This 2 dishes are fried but dont feel any oily-ness at all. A bit of let down is chillfoodi crab, no kick, feel crab meat is abit overcooked and the gravy was watery. But they have the best steam mantou, which saved the chillicrab. They have one of the best moonlight horfun and steam bun and mushroom bun. Set within a nondescript coffeeshop diagonally across from Swee Choon, this is a hidden gem serving handmade dim sum that, according to Burpple Tastemaker Acamas Teo, easily rivals Swee Choon and 126. Go with Burpple Tastemaker Michelle Kayla Tay's suggestion of the Super Big Bao ($3.20). The humongous fluffy bun holds together a generous combination of juicy fillings that include half an egg, mushrooms, Chinese waxed sausage, and chunks of chicken and pork. Pair this with the Century Egg Shrimp Siew Mai ($1.80) and the Tofu Bamboo ($1.70), which sees minced meat and bamboo shoot wrapped within a sheet of beancurd skin. The food selection is pretty minimal so save this spot for a teatime outing. Don't forget to order a stellar cup of kopi or teh while you're here — it's seriously good.

Signature Spaghetti with Wild Boar Sauce ($8.90)

This looks fairly ordinary & even bordering on gross-looking (sorry), but I enjoyed it.

The sauce tastes somewhat like a creamy ragu, if that even makes sense. The standard pasta is spaghetti, but I was offered the Fettuccine option which apparently pairs better with the sauce. I wholeheartedly agree! It scoops up the sauce nicely & with every bite there is a nice portion of pasta with the good ol' sauce dribbling off of it.

I could imagine some folks wanting more meat or ingredients in this dish, but this did not bother me (for some strange reason).

The tonkutsu broth surprised me with its rich umami flavours and creaminess. The thick noodle, freshly made everyday, is springy and chewy to the bite.

I will definitely go back for more ramen!
