A Japanese white soft bun with stir fried pork, bamboo shoots and mushrooms filling. I bought this because I was too attracted by the cheese! It was disappointing though, as the only cheese in the bun was the thin top layer. The filling was average, a mixture of savory and slight sweetness. I would have preferred to be able to taste the different components but it was all chopped up. It's pricey and I would go for the chicken or pork bao at the kopitiams instead.

Best noodle that I've tried so far in Sg!!! The texture of the noodle and the taste are really similar to the noodles we have in Jakarta. It might be considered pricey for a bowl of noodle, but the portion is big so it's totally worth it 😊 Also try their sambal 👍👍👍

Thanks @crystalfishball for being so open to having our dinner here even though I know it's not top on your list 😘😘 Very sad that there is only 1 Kim Gary outlet left in Singapore at Vivocity! The bf and I used to frequent the Tampines outlet almost weekly 😋😋 #burpple #kimgaryrestaurant #cheesebakedrice #hongkongfood
This very cheesy meal can truly be found in HK only. Creamy cheese over pork chop is heavenly to all HK food lovers. Just like their instant noodles you will either love it or hate it. I'm a convert now.
Spicy cha Shu ramen with a choice of thick or thin noodles. They also have broths in white or black garlic. $14.90 for ala carte and $3/4 extra for a set.
Initially wanted to try this and another pasta since there was an ongoing 1-for-1 pasta promotion (3–7pm), but note that this dish isn't eligible for said promo.
While I managed my expectations for this dish , we were hoping for a little bit more from this "bestseller". The porcini filling wasn't that great and the flavour-packed bolognese sauce was competing for our taste buds' attention.
Pretty value for money. $14.90 for their signature tendon which includes a mini chawanmushi and free flow pickles (which wasn't very nice, but at least they existed). Also very generous with their serving. Neither of us managed to finish our bowls. Perhaps it would have been better if we had just shared one.

There’s only 3 flavours on the menu and your bowl of ramen is quite customisable. You can choose the softness of your noodles, flavour profile and even how much oil - which I really appreciate.
The noodles were really soft (because I opted for soft noodles) and I love it. The egg was soft and nice but the meat is alittle bit dry but the thinness kinda made up for it. Also you get to enjoy free flow beansprouts and corn!
I would probably return again! 💛
Crispy Prawn Cheong Fun ($5.90)
Sunday is Dim-Sum day! Only recently learnt that actually Soup Restaurant at Vivocity serves dim sum too! 👏🏼👏🏼 Went to give it a shot and I was definitely not disappointed! This is one of the more unique items on the dimsum menu. Fried prawn 🍤 coated in light crispy batter is rolled in silky soft cheong fun skin and drenched in soy sauce. What makes this a "must-order" dish is the flavour and textural burst with each piece and the shiok sambal chilli loaded with haebi that they serve this with!
While most of the dim sum menu items I tried were good👍🏼, what is bothersome is the service hours for the dim sum menu. So some of the items are available till 8pm while other selected items are only available from 2.30pm - 6pm. So it'll actually be best to head there during afternoon tea time to ensure that all menu items are available😉!
Our favorite smiling lor mee uncle wasn't here to welcome us today. This new stall that has taken over simply couldn't match up to the BEST LOR MEE.
Now we don't have to fly to TW for a comforting bowl of 卤肉饭. Fragrance bowl with good ratio of fatty and lean meat by the folks of 呷三碗. I can devour three bowls if I have no regard for my waistline!
