Itās been on my wishlist since last year and I was finally prepared to take a long stroll to this place š¤¤ Thereās only one coffeeshop there but I still had a hard time spotting them because theyāre just selling out in the open with a very small āsignboardā. .
The prata was definitely crispy, but it was very floury and just average. The curry had a little spice but lacked flavor. Overall, it fell below my expectations. However, I understand that it might be their bad day so do still go down for a try!

š: Mr & Mrs Mohganās Super Crispy Prata
š: 6:30am-12:30pm (Usually sells out before 1:30pm)
$8.00
Since Sushiro was closed on Valentinesā Day and because it was nearing 9, the only place I could think of was The Roti Prata House! When we reached, it was packed with people but luckily we were able to find a seat at the corner. The staff members recommended us to have the Nasi Goreng Chicken Masala and so we did!
.
I absolutely adore the taste of the Nasi Goreng, which was super fragrant. I donāt usually eat Malay or Indian food so Iām pretty sure this is the first Nasi Goreng that Iāve ordered on my own accord but after this Nasi Goreng, Iām sure Iāll be eating more Nasi Goreng in the future! The chicken was crispy on the outside, but rather dry on in the inside. This wasnāt something I would specially go down for, but if Iām in the area, I would definitely eat this! Rather pricey, but worth the splurge!

š: The Roti Prata House

$1.30
Yes, just $1.30 for this egg prata! Ali Fatimah has been a frequent spot for me during my secondary school days as we came here for breakfast before school started on some days (yes prata at 6am! š)
I would say the prata is pretty average, and leans more to the soft than crispy side which I don't mind. The curry's alright as well, but could use a bit more spice!
The store owners are super nice as well, and one of the main reasons why we keep going back for more (fun fact! the owner was on a toothpaste advertisement before!!)
Casuarina Curry has been one of my family's favorite places to have prata since I was young! (We travelled from Sengkang for this so you can tell how much we love it)
Casuarina Curry has a large variety of prata flavors, as well as other Indian food like Thosai, Briyani and many more! Prices are affordable as well, with the plain prata sold at $1.30! The Upper Thomson branch is definitely the best branch out of all the branches in Singapore :-)
ā¼ļø Breakfast time is a very busy and crowded time so I would suggest going around 11am when it's nearing lunch time!
