1 day Promo! At Donki Orchard Central.. Don't say bojio, try this glazed salmon chicken karaage. Chicken could be crispier but it's well worth because of nicely cooked salmon and beautiful egg roll. Usual price for this dish is $11.90 Give it a try if you are Donki member 🐧

Est.since 1991, this popular warabimochi has opened its first outpost in Singapore in April (for this cuppage plaza outlet that we decide to try). We queued here about <15 mins on weekday (not too bad, eh?😃) We ordered box of 5 warabimochi only (No desserts or drinks). They gave us a pair of chopsticks and bamboo pick along with kuromitsu syrup made from pure 100% brown sugar from Okinawa.
Biting the first piece and we both agree this is no ordinary one. It's light, fresh and bouncy (not chewy or stiff like other commercial ones). The roasted kinako soybean powder are plenty and coat the whole warabimochi nicely. We will let you decide when you try. It's definitely in a must try snack list for us! 💯

Not always available on weekday eve. or perhaps sold out. This is a value pack for someone who miss their weekly 🥑 superfood intake. Comes with ginger & kikkoman soy sauce. Avo is fresh & not too tiny piece like those makis from where we regularly buy from. 🤫

Not everyone would eat this. It is a sharing plate for 2 but only one of us is willing to try surf clam 😏 With texture like geoduck, you are in treat for a unique texture sushi. It is highly nutritious and bring back our fond memory at tsukuji market.🥰

When you ordered the uni-kani-ikura trio set to try, but then you realize that you love uni the most (double up!) The uni is still as fresh as the previous set we ordered.

Just by looking, you could mistake this as beef (by the way, beef sushi does exist but one of us don't eat beef). Rightly that it is a solo piece as the Bluefin tuna itself is a prime & special ingredient. It has darker hue than typical one and also the fattiest.✨️🍣

Fancy conveyor belt sushi for some time. A great opportunity to keep up with our favourite place "Sushiro". Their latest monthly promo item are "Waves of Maguro and uni".🌊 I am slightly picky when it comes to uni and kani miso (long story short want to eat only fresh ones) and this trio doesn't disappoint at all. 👍💯

Wrapping up our joyful adventure with this snow crab bao dish, our whole perception about Japanese fusion food has been transformed. The highlight is a lightly crispy well cooked Bao. It is a texture play when combining with softy snow crab. Before you realize you eat so much greens, the whole bao is gone! 😆 We know that we would definitely come back for some more...😚🍀

Perfect for 2 sharing persons, this Futo sushi (futomaki) type doesn't dissappoint us. Just one pop gives us a mouthful of creamy cubed salmon sashimi tossed in mentaiko. The crispy sesame & shiro negi (Japanese long green onion) are hard to miss as they pile on top of these 2 twinnies portrudingly.🤩

How could we miss their signature. We are quite curious when looking at the name alone. After trying these few makis, then we know that this dish is a must order and our most favourite after trying all the dishes. The toppimgs (from bottom to top) 👉 unagi, scallop, salmon, snowcrab which go so well with cucumber & avocado. If you don't mind torched food, this is the one to go for.

As luck would have it, we manage to get the seats at peak hour (lunch time) without reservation in this wishlist eatery. Daytime this place is popular with office workers in CBD. Then comes the evening, 'Taniki Raw' morphes into a cocktail bar.🍹You know we always have a penchant for a playful place. 😉
Tuna Sashimi is perhaps the most straight laced Japanese dish that showcases how fresh the ingredients are served here (we would say this is simply gorgeous 👌)

Wish we could have freshly made Dango (Japanese dumpling street snack) but hey, at least we've got 4 choices of Dango in SG! 😚 "Kushi Dango" (skewered mochi in sweet soy glaze) is our most favourite Dango type as we love its unique taste from sweet soy glaze. This fun snack is best paired with roasted barley tea. 😌😇
