Thankful for the complimentary zoo + river safari tickets + food vouchers that saved us almost S$70 per pax and at the same time I can go to the zoo to see animals because they are better than humans.😣 (yes I actually love going to the zoo) And it was the most awesome trip ever because during the whole time there, no sweat at all, the weather was so good, breezy, windy. The aircon in Polar Bear & Pandas' enclosure is so cold that I want to grab my blankets and stay there. So now I'm going to post some food pictures. 😜

➊ [Ice Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly & Caramel Sauce S$4] - doesn't taste like teh at all, it has a fake plastic taste that I couldn't describe, nonetheless we drank it all.

They serve up a pretty good salmon pesto in about 7 mins and the salmon is really nice and chunky.

Adored the richness and smoothness of the Earl Grey cream and how it complemented the gooey slice of butter so well 😛 Black sesame toast was fragrant too, just that a thicker layer of black sesame could have helped to score the overall toast experience an A1? Not to mention the latte which was so smooth and delectable. However the hint of sea salt caramel was almost non existent:(

The beef was soft and flavourful, and the yoghurt sauce did work well to cut through the jelat-ness of the dish. Very good and value for money meal for 10 bucks!

Sea Salt Nutella Tart ($6.90)

All the tarts @butterstudio are handcrafted with love. The tart base was firm and crisp but veered towards a rather buttery taste. The nutella centre sprinkled with some sea salt was super rich and chocolatey. All in all, a decent tart for tea-break. Note also that this is a halal cafe. I’m waiting to try the speculoos ondeh cake the next time I pop by!

Miss how chicken rice taste, it's been too long since we have eaten this so we definitely miss the taste of this. The soft chicken mixes with the rice, and how the garlic chicken and sweet sauce adds more kick to your tongue. Hashtag #thegrowingbelly to share your meal with us! Stay belly growing!

$4 mango pudding with real mango bits..this is surprisingly delicious! would order this again!

For an indulgent, creamy treat, head to this new stall in the basement of Raffles City. Famed for their range of delicate cheese cookies, Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory also serves up really amazing Hokkaido Soft Serve (from $4). Burppler Natalie Wong loves that the ice cream is smooth and creamy, while Burppler Yvonne Lo compared it to Japanese cheesecake in ice cream form. Yum! It can be a tough choice deciding between the Cow Cow Milk ($4) and Cow Cow Cheese flavour ($4.50), so consider getting the Cow Cow Twist ($4.50) for a combination of both. Alternatively, get the best of both worlds with the Cow Cow Sundae ($8.50), which sees your choice of soft serve topped with a cheese cookie and a slice of pillowy cheesecake.
Pro tip: The stall has a selection of cookies, cheesecake and roll cake for sale — perfect for bringing with you for house parties.

It's been awhile since my first visit, still the grumpiest aunties making your toast and coffee. But that kaya and Butter on crispy toast paired with robust kopi can turn any bad day right back up!
Come after 2.30pm on a weekend to avoid the queue and crowd but come early if you wanna have any of their pastries.

One of my favourite old school breakfast but he not his fav. 😂
