What makes a good ravioli? A made to order thin sheet of pasta from Italian 00 flour, a well seasoned filling, sealed firm, cooked to order, simple yet delicate. The sauce shouldn’t overpower the ravioli but compliment it. .
.
The veal filling doesn’t have a funky smell which was much appreciated, a slight milky savoury flavour and the pasta skin, al dente. Superbly executed considering that it was quite a technical dish.

Honestly I was disappointed when I heard that their famous Homemade Tagliatelle with Wagyu Beef and Foie Gras Ragout wasn’t in their menu this season after I heard so many rave reviews from my friends. Alas I settled for something halfheartedly however the Linguine did not lift my spirits back up. .
.
It could be my high expectations or my disarrayed feelings about a dish I look so forward to having. It was decent, something you expect from maybe say, Pasta Brava? But I must say, they were really generous with the lobster. .
.
For a dinner date, I eat light all day to save room, then I go all in: I choose this meal and this order, and I choose you, the person across from me, to share it with. There's a beautiful intimacy in a meal like that.

ACAMASEATS & TIPS💮: Absolutely no idea why one would baked a Risotto. It looked like a Meatloaf more than a Risotto. The texture of the rice is way off than what one would expect, so skip this. 🧀

We tried most of the pastas they have to offer, from fresh pasta to risotto, surprisingly the pastas here are not up to par. Maybe their mains may fare better. 🔖

ACAMASEATS & TIPS💮: The Raviolacci skin has a tough bite to it despite being relatively thin (maybe we spent an considerable amount of time taking pics). The beef Filling is forgettable & the Marsala Sauce is way too sweet that's scary. 🍯

Not as an experience to be collected or bragged about - or as a ritual like filling up a car - but as something else that gives pleasure, like sex or music, or a good nap in the afternoon. 🔖

ACAMASEATS & TIPS💮: Of all the Pasta we had this gotta be the most decent out of all. Scrumptious sauce, delightful prawns & umami tomatoes. The only downside will be the Homemade Tagliolini itself. It could be more Al Dente. 🔖

Deep down in my heart I just wanna an authentic plate of Cacio e Pepe most uniquely Roman of pastas. Just three ingredients, pasta, pepper & cheese. So simple, so good but so many places get it wrong or doesn't serve it. There's no sauce to hide behind, one can judge an Osteria simply by ordering that humble pasta. 🖖🏻
