Mealtop cafe is mostly located at the top level of Hyundai Dept Stores in Korea I think. And I had this in the Sinchon outlet. For a 1-person serving, it is slightly on the pricier side considering its location. It was a tad too sweet for my liking, but the red bean was goooood. Matcha tasted a lil fake though. :/

This mini shop sells really yummy and homely Tteokbokki at affordable prices in Hongdae. Their selling point is cheese fondue Tteokbokki which goes up to 4 times the amount for a serving of tteokbokki.

Their famous dishes also include kimbap and fried stuff. This has to be one of my favourite food places to go to for cheap and affordable food in Korea!

A lil pricey but it's good for 3 to share! It's a bread bowl of oozy cheese and cream sauce with fried chicken around it. The waiter will cut up the bread bowl in front of you so make sure to take a picture before he does it!

This has got to be my Favourite bread place! The bread came piping hot from the oven and was really heavy. Only when I sank my teeth into it do I realise that it's really 真材实料!

Beware that the spicy one is really spicy (we didn't try it but were told of it). They also have cream-based options, and you can also add cheese to your jjimdak! Rice is free-flow weeee
What's disappointing is that they gave us breast meat, while Gosu Jjimdak had more tender chicken meat with a larger portion.

Located between Hongik and Sinchon lies this popular burger place where burgers are freshly made upon order. The grilled shrimps had a strong barbecue taste and were crunchy! You can actually choose your preferred burger bun too! We went with the original one, but there were squid ink and oatmeal options.

Yes free flow flower crabs (soy sauce/spicy)! But beware that they are raw - so if you're not a fan of raw food or have a sensitive stomach, better not have it. They also have soy sauce raw prawns at 5 for W5,000.

GLORIOUS GLORIOUS SALMON SASHIMI needs no further introduction. This was sooo fresh there wasn't any fishy taste in it.

Beware that although seafood is sold cheaply in Noryangjin, the stall owners may force you to bring you up to the restaurant upstairs to get you settled down and the kitchen will prepare the food for you and charge a premium for it.

Finally got my hands on this favourite. I wasn't expecting much cos I thought the matcha taste would be bland, but turned out better. There was definitely a matcha taste in the cream filling, but not overly strong. It complemented well with the red bean walnut filling beneath the bun too. A very hipster and popular pancake cafe among millenials especially girlfriends and couples, this quaint pancake place serves SUPER fluffy pancakes but beware of sugar overdose.

I'm sure many of you have heard about Passion 5 cafe at Itaewon. Opened by SPC (the company behind Paris Baguette), they serve gelato ice cream in a cafe, features a bakery, sells cakes and pastries and also a chocolatier. The dining space is quite small and little. Price is slightly on the pricier side, but taste wise is not too high class. Price doesn't really match the taste, but matches the ambience.
