It's rare to find a wu xiang shop with more than a couple of delicious items. This stall has more than my wallet can afford. The prawn roll, the lup cheong, the creamy century egg, the fragrant and creamy tofu, the crunchy cuttlefish, the crispy prawn fritters.... well basically the whole menu.. Still a hearty bowl of prawn noodles ($5) after all these years. The extra chili powder is a must. I prefer the tender, fall off the bone pork ribs over the prawns, which have had their essence sucked up by the soup. Fragrant, creamy, and downright delicious. The use of charcoal gave the laksa such a wonderful, smokey edge. The amount of cockles is so generous and each one is so fat that you would advise them to join TAF club. $3 to experience a taste of heaven is a steal.
