3.5 munchies: Sink your teeth into one of these impeccably deep-fried slivers and it’s impossible to stop at one. The savoury goodness made me want to pair it with a cold pint of beer! If only the salted egg sauce were coated evenly on the salmon skin, though. #Burpproved

Two pieces bowl shape fermented rice flour pancakes, with orange colour sugar and grated coconut. $2.50 for this, expect short queue during weekends.

Before the fried food and raw meats is served. This is displayed on the table. Most of this can be refill. What a feast. A place for gathering, family dinner and noisy crowd.

Special blend of tomato pasta sauce that uses white wine and less cheese. Minced beef is quite generous for this portion. Pasta is al dente. White plate enhance the look. Price at $9.50

Almost fainted eating this! It's my favourite 流沙 in my favourite 面包

$5. The chicken is quite yummy. I like that the bowl was mixed with meat, rice, lettuce, seaweed and half-boiled egg. There was melted cheese on TOP of the rice. Somehow the rice still tasted very blend and dry. Only love the sauce on the chicken meat.

And guess what. I ate in the same restaurant as PM Lee and Tony Abbott!! Seeing them in the park was already a bonus, having them enter our restaurant halfway through our meal was even more 😱😱😱 Hahaha and so our dinner was made twice more exciting because of that LOL.

This dish is so sinful but so good i don't care. Kurobuta Pork Confit comes sprinkled with sea salt and a highly addictive mango salsa. The skin is crackling and crisp (I'm salivating just writing about it) and the knife sinks easily into the confit, which is melt in your mouth. And the tastes are all tied in with the mango salsa, which is acidic and sour and somehow works so well with the pork.

Don't go in expecting a dessert buttery French toast this is the homemade kind. Then again their teriyaki chicken never fails to disappoint.

Randomly found this stall on Burpple and decided to give his a try. At first it was lil hard to locate this stall as I thought it's a restaurant and expecting to see the signboard from far LOLZ .

But anyway! Purposely came here for this dish as I'm a fan of salted egg yolk. What's even best? With cereal on top! fries were crispy too. Two words: Worth it.

Price: $4.50

Waffles at Roosevelt's have never disappointed me before and I am exhilarated to still be able to get hold of them by the same team at Montana Brew Bar. I really miss Roosevelt's!

Honestly, I am Team Sweet when it comes to waffles. I never liked fried chicken on my waffles, but this signature mac and cheese waffle changed my perception of savory waffles. It's been revamped several times, and now you have jalapeño, truffle oil, Mac & cheese all whisked into the buttermilk waffle, finally draped with mozzarella cheese.

Tear the waffle, pull the cheese. I don't even have to describe how soft and fluffy the waffle is, as you could have probably observed that from the standing piece in the photo. See the macaroni? I really like the idea of hiding them in the waffle batter, a surprise element. Fortunately, it's not as cheesy as expected. Though light in flavor, I'd still recommend this to be shared to keep monotony away. Afterall, it's carbs in carbs.
Thank you @montanasingapore for hosting and @burpple for the invite!

Not the most flattering photo but this “wazza” was pretty interesting - basically a Waffle-pizza so you’ve got buttermilk waffle with mozzarella, topped very generously with ingredients. Waffles were pretty soft and fluffy. We got the Okonomiyaki which came with tuna flakes, fried egg, tonkatsu sauce, Japanese mayo and bonito flakes, similar to the Japanese pancake! Surprisingly addictive though a little too one-dimensional texture-wise. Probably would be even better with more crisp waffle, crunchy bits or even ingredients like octopus in takoyaki?. Pretty filling at only $11 nett!
