Ordered Carbonara this time after a bad experience with their fish and chips(very dry, salad was doused with a horrendous dressing). There was a 1-1 promotion going on at $11.90 for most of their selected mains using an app. Added on a cream of mushroom $4.90. The soup bowl was only half filled. Pretty disappointing. Only if you happen to be around the area and dying for a quiet place apart from the hustle and bustle, give this place a try. Other than that, I do not see enough reason to eat here when I can get Dominoes or other western food around the vincity.

Went to Jinjja Chicken based on a Malay colleague's recommendation. We each got one set which costs more than $10 to get the free binggsu. There were 3 flavours for the chicken. I prefer thighs to drumsticks but they only had wings and drumsticks. Fries came in either sea salt or seaweed with chili flakes. The sauce was fiery but when I bit into the chicken, there were far too many fats in varied places connecting the flesh to the bones. I would say this is highly unusual and tasted horrible. Will not return. Binggsu was so sweet. Everytime I give Korean food in Singapore a try, disappointment always sets in.
In conclusion, the chicken was bland; apart from the sauce. No idea where they sourced their halal chicken from.

A total of 7 mains, 3 burgers and 10 sides, the choices are sufficent for irregular visits. For me, the limited menu means I get to focus on what I may prefer having. Having read reviews on the net stating the BBQ Boneless Chicken Leg and Sashimi Grade Baked Salmon as the more popular choices, I decided against both and went in for fish and chips. Indeed fish and chips is a rather dry food and tartare sauce will not help. Cod fish is not as flaky as dory yet soft. I did feel that instead of using tartare sauce, green pea mush would have been so much better. This is not Irish fish and chips. I would say it is definitely better than most fish and chips which uses bread/biscuit crumbs out there. It actually comes with house salad which I got it changed to charred lemon broccoli. Yes it does taste charred. The sides did not pique my interest at all sadly. Fries were identical to chips. Extremely dehydrated and crunchy. I love my fries fluffy. Same old Heinz chili sauce. Mushroom soup had texture with bits of seaweed ontop. Kind of lost my taste for western food will be back at Yishun Park Hawker to try other food.

Pizza Hut always comes up with different types of pizza before any special occasions. I have always had a soft spot for their cheesy crust, cheesy pull generally anything involving the taste of chewy cheese in/on flour. Pizza Hut is not what I will describe as delicious pizza. It is simply carbs in a better day. Any shop that does delivery is fit for those looking to chill and they know to have various promotions to fit 2-3 px and a large group.

This latest offering comes in two variations, Extreme and Original. Without finding the need to read, I went for the Extreme. A true cheese love will go the extra calories for cheese. The big cheesy box is suited for 3-4 pax but is really just 2 for this glutton queen. Curry baked pasta tasted somewhat bitter and definitely a bad choice. All other sides were acceptable. With the miserable single pack of parmesan and chili flakes topping, I was able to coat one single slice. In all honesty the pizza puff was daunting as it looked somewhat like a soup bowl with the bread on top. After tasting it, I was pleasantly surprised the crust had this bo lo bao taste. Who knew a little bit of sweet actually does wonders. The cheese was not the mozzarella cheddar mix as with their pull series, I was slightly disappointed. How do I feel about pineapples on pizzas? Prefer not to have but would not explicitly reject. Not as cheesy as expected, dislike cherry tomato on pizza. These babies are best eaten as they are, uncooked. First and last pizza hut of the year. Felt really full from all that excess carbs. Pizza should always be the one and many things in a meal forgo the rest of the useless carbs. Life is too short to not eat good food!
