All About Side Dish
Teriyaki Mayo Fries ($4) (pic 1)
a lot of sauces on the fries for me and my sister and i think they should be putting on the tub instead. they put too much sauces alr and it's quite overwhelming lol.
Mussels Nuggets (regular - $4.30)
it's quite overcooked for the outer filling tbh and i think they cooked but reheat for serving lol. but it's quite juicy on inner filling :)
Prawn Fritter under Set Meal
so crispy and crunchy batter but my sister got internal shock when she saw a lot of corn inside the batter :"(
Finger Bites (Agi Tofu) ($6.00) (takeaway = 20 cents)
I like their agi tofu with mixed vegtables. it's quite so good but crispy and crunchy on the batter for agi tofu. not that hard for agi tofu to chew through even though I left it for a while. can be dipped with mayo if you want extra flavour for bites.
Remind me of usual size hashbrown (mcd) and since we're outgrown of usual size once we are growing up in each stage of our life. But my friend and I didn't know what we should order from there and we just browse through their ig profile 😅 they really crispy for their outer skin but inside outer skin was really soft when it was being served in hot.
Cheese Fries ($4.50)
I didn't like it because they add minced bacon and its taste so weird 😅
Goonmandu (Deep Fried Dumpling) (4/5) - I really like their crispy fried Dumpling on first few tries.
Side Dishes (×6)
- corn & carrots (3.5/5) - I felt that their marinated syrup with carrots and corn were quite sweet tbh but its quitebsoft and easily to chew in small pieces
- creamy pasta (2.5/5) - I never like creamy pasta right from the start but their sauce is quite thick and milky :")
- korea spicy handmade bean sprouts (豆芽)(4.5/5) - I did like marinated vegetables especially the restaurant always provide for side dish and the spicy level was OK
- korean handmade stir-made fishcake (4/5) - I felt that their marinated syrup were quite sweet tbh but it's quite soft and chew in the small pieces.
- homemade kimchi (4/5) - I felt that the kimchi was quite ok but slightly spicy aftertaste
hmmm still good for filling but it's quite hard for the dumpling skin :")
Army Base Stew ($15.90) It consisted of SPAM (Luncheon Meat), sausages, instant noodles with kimchi soup and melted cheese topping. My sister she didn't see melted cheese but just melted away on the soup lol. We felt that it's quite so-so only (nothing much special about it) and like the food was quite salty aftertaste. The pricing was quite standard. Kimchi Pork Belly Stew ($15.90) consisted of sliced Pork Belly, fermented Kimchi, tofu and vegetables include rice. Crispy Samgyeopsal with Creamy Scrambled Eggs & SoyYuja Sauce ($13.90) was quite good in terms of creamy scrambled eggs and also their pork belly (crispy skin) got sour (due to vinegar) but salty towards the end. I realised that their side dishes (banchan) got only 2 sets for 3 people. Good thing about their Kimchi Pancake ($10.90) consisted of savoury kimchi and sweet onions was quite crispy and that not spicy for me.
It was quite mild spicy 🌶 and sweet 🍬 aftertase for chicken tender ($6) but the marinated sauce for spicy and sweet was quite thick but the sauce for spicy and sweet didn’t absorbed well.
They have different variety of sauces for fried chicken and also selling different korea dishes at there. Do bring along the container for the takeaway (60 cents)
