The food was so good! Sadly, my photos do not do justice to how pretty the food was

The restaurant's interior is decorated with a vibrant Mexican flair, using bold colours and rustic furnishings for that indie kind of vibe. They served Mexican's food like quesadillas, tortilla pizzas, tacos, burritos and even desserts like churros.

Overall, I'd say that they serve pretty decent Mexican food with good flavours and textures. Staffs were friendly, ambience were good, but serving time is excruciatingly slow (waited close to 30 mins for my food to be served) and serving portion is quite small to be honest. If I'm paying that much money for a taco and burrito (where I can get them at much lower price and bigger portion at Stuff'd), can't I have a slightly bigger portion here? Even the corn chips served were a bit pathetic I'd say.

Ideally, this would be the perfect place to chill and lepak over brunch/dinner with your family and friends but I'd have to give this place a miss if I'm really hungry (and cranky). Not worth the time waiting and definitely not worth the price paying if you intend to order a lot from their menu.

What we ordered:
- 1 taco
- 1 burrito
- 2 drinks

Bill came up to $65+ for two pax.

My advice? If you want to impress that special someone on your first date or just had your pay in and is in the mood to splurge, then yes, go for it. But if you're on a budget and you need to fulfil your Mexican food cravings, aiyah then just go to Stuff'd and stuff yourself with the free flow toppings. End of story.

Thanks to The Lokal team for sending this Pavlova over to our table. My friend and I may have been stuffed from lunch but that didn't stop us from gleefully launching an attack.
How could we possibly not be excited to taste fresh soursop, passionfruit and roasted pineapples heaped on to light-as-air, crisp meringue. Its description on the "specials" board had already caught our attention when we walked in. Well, it turned out just like I'd anticipated: refreshing and fruity, with a lovely balance struck between sour and sweet.
Congrats Chef Darren on adding yet another tempting dessert to your repertoire 👍😋

Had this at the more casual dining space upstairs, Pollen Terrace. Saffron risotto with braised beef cheeks ($34++) and ribeye steak (35++) with mushroom, potato puree and 2 sauces (choice of bernaise or peppercorn but we requested for both). Used Entertainer 1-for-1 for this, and also gained free entrance to Flower Dome, as all Pollen diners are entitled to this. Saved us a substantial amount. Food was good and service was even better. And the ambience, in my humble opinion, is one of the best in Singapore. Dining in a giant glass dome filled with flowers made me feel so fancy but not too pretentious because of the laid back atmosphere heh. It was really lovely, I hope to come back soon!

Modern North Indian fusion at its best. Tender, moist lamb, coated in a delicious smoky glaze. Notes of roast coffee and spices. Quite shiok!

At Indian fusion eatery Maziga Indian Grill, the round and crispy Old Delhi Golgappa Chat comes with refreshing tubes of chilled jaljeera oxide (powdered herbs that have been given a Heston-esque treatment of liquid nitrogen) bursting with great flavours. This sweet, tangy and spicy evening snack is loved by everyone in the dining table!

The strands of fusilli surprised us with its crisp texture and bold masala spice flavour. Good bar snack!

Best served on briyani or naan 😋 .

Brought by the folks behind Bincho (also part of Unlisted Collection), Panko replaces Longplay at Haji Lane. Recently launching their lunch menu, their lunch sets are priced competitively between $16 to $20 while coming generous with complimentary Chawanmushi, soup, pickles, kushikatsu (the reason why people come to Panko for) and dessert — it's pretty much like having a 6-course meal that's very worth the money spent!

The Chawanmushi itself was silky smooth, coming with a layer of the sticky Dashi stock that gave the steamed egg its flavour. Inside, it's packed with fish cake, ginkgo and a chunk of chicken; would probably say it's pretty filled with goodies despite being served as a compliment to the main dish. Kushikatsu sticks that come with the set includes Brussels Sprouts, Baby Tomatoes and Scallops; all of that drizzled with a sauce for flavour while being almost greaseless. That being said, the batter felt like it lacked the crispness that one would yearn for in fried food, with the batter seemingly tearing away from the ingredients too eagerly with a bite. The pickles were crunchy and juicy with a reasonable tanginess, while the Soup came with a good amount of seaweed and tofu. The Unagi Toji don comes pretty comforting with the unagi and egg cooked with Dashi broth blanketing the bed of rice — it's pretty much comforting like a good Oyako Don replacing the chunks of chicken with unagi; it is also worth being that the unagi was well-flavoured with the sauce that it was coated with and not scaly. Dessert was a scoop of vanilla ice-cream; creamy and smooth while being aromatic — it's not really outstanding on its own but still puts the meal to a great end. A simple and decent bowl that is well-executed for its price at $18, not to mention all the stuff on the side that one is getting as part of the deal; quite a value-for-money lunch menu I would say!

Tori Teri Mee, $13++ - fried chicken meat, seaweed, linguine, with teriyaki sauce. Beef chili cheese fries, $10++ - minced beef with tomato sauce. Sambal Teri Wings, $10++

I will be back again!

Finger-licking good meal for two which comes with Alitas de Pollo (chicken wings), two burritos or tacos and two soft drinks.
