Really unique dish with kway teow like noodles. The broth has tumeric which gives it the yellow shade. Served with peanuts and a cracker.

You can only find egg coffee in Vietnam. It tastes really unique, mainly in the creamy and light texture. Does have a slight eggy taste but definitely not off putting. Quite yummy actually.

Only comes iced. Really refreshing! Coffee place is pretty quaint too and situated in a residential neighbourhood so you won’t be charged tourist prices. The coffee was 25,000 dong (S$1.50).

Very nice Spanish tapas place in Danang. The croquetas were especially good. Choose the mixed combo of iberico ham & truffle, and mushroom.

Combination of fried veggie slices, tiny mussels, pork crackling and rice. Soup is poured over the dish to make it semi porridge-like.

Tastes a bit like Ipoh white coffee, with a tinge of saltiness. Served cold only.

Possibly the best Bun Bo Hue I’ve had in Hue. The meatballs were super tasty.

Served with rice paper that you can wrap the pork in, together with the salad, pull the lemongrass stick off, then dip the wrap in peanut sauce. Or it can be eaten off the stick. Both versions are equally tasty!

Dry noodles with grilled pork and a bowl of peanut sauce that you drizzle over as gravy. Pretty tasty but I prefer the version with fish sauce as gravy.

Steamed rice cake stuffed with shrimp and atop a pork crackling piece. The rice cake has a slightly more chewy texture to it compared to Banh Beo. Served cold (although I wish it was served hot).

Steamed rice cake with dried shrimp bits and pork crackling sprinkled on top. Add a little soy sauce to taste. Served cold (although I wish it was served hot).

I can't live without my dose of local hawker fare.
