Deep fried mushroom dunked in a pool of sweet and sour sauce together with zucchini, carrots, capsicum. Sauce was really too sweet, i wish they could have lessen the sweetness of the sauce.

Mock fish cake stir fry with spicy sauce and served on a sizziling hotplate. Very spicy but the flavour was nice!

Something new on the menu that caught my eyes! Instead of the usual such as kimchi, potato and seafood, here we have zucchini pancake instead at this vegeterian restaurant. Very thin slice and crispy but portion was a tad too small.

Pot of β€œred water” loaded with whites and greens. Toufu, mushroom, mandu and lots of vegetables together with kimchi in this mix pot of goodness!

Eggplant was stuffed with chickpeas, capsicum, ricotta and spices. It was baked together with mozeralla cheese on the top and served it with yoghurt sauce. It also comes with a side salad. Not spicy at all and the dish is full of the masala flavour!

Vegan restaurant serving up a wide selection of mediterranean and greek dishes. First up, the platter comes with 3 selection of middle eastern dips such as hummus, pumpkin and carrot, beetroot and almond. It comes with falafel and cheese cube to pair it with the white yoghurt sauce. Pita bread was served at the side to pair it along with the various dips.

Always long queue during the first and fifteen here at Ru Yi Yuan located at Bukit Batok Central. The standard set comes with springy with bee hoon and topped with fried mock duck, mock meat, braised tau kwa, veggie and fried beancurd skin. Good variety of topping and generous portion for the price.

Picked the vegan option that comes with a wheat patty and guacamole and orange mustard as the sauce. The sourdough bread has not much flavour but the patty actually tasted like luncheon meat! Such a surprise to me! I didn’t expect that a vegan can also have a taste of how spam is like! So touched!!! It does also comes with a side of cabbage with potato dressing. This side is a tad sour, similar to those fermented vegetables. Do order salad if you are not a fan of sour veggie!

Stalks of cauliflower mixed with tumeric spices and send for oven baked. Simple piece of appetiser!

Vegan patty made from quinoa, spinach and rolled oat and we picked the vegan burger bun. Patty was quite flavourful, the quinoa add a nice crunch to the patty. Served with a side of purple cabbage coleslaw and sweet potato fries.

In replacement of real linguine, we have here is the zucchini sprialised into thin noodle shape. Tossed with tomato sauce and grinded almond that act as the pamarsan cheese. It also comes with mini β€œmeatball” that is made of walnut, dates and shitake. But the walnut taste is quite strong though! Is served cold like salad, so depends on individual preference. I would prefer it to serve hot like a REAL PASTA!
