The pieces of unagi were flavourful and adequately fatty, but the star of the show was really the kimchi fried rice😍😋 Its easily one of the best kimchi fried rice I've had in Singapore, so flavourful, packing an adequate punch of spice and the texture of the rice was on point too!!

Main disappointing factor was the pastry. Was a little on the soggy side and wasn't as buttery and fragrant as I would've liked it to be, hence it was kind of sinking under the weight of the amount of cream above it. Then again, that might be because I didn't consume it on the spot in the cafe?😅🤔

The cake leans towards the sweeter side, though i do think the sweetness level is still acceptable. Perhaps i should give their matcha one (yes the cheesecake is available in matcha flavour too!🍵) a try as I would think the bitterness from the matcha would provide some sort of balance. There was a tinge of bitterness i guess, but coming from the burnt portion of the cheesecake 😹

Really liked the sesame(?) dressing at the side too 😊 A tad oily but the huge, leafy vegetables definitely helped.

Just choose your ingredient, because the soup base is the same, save for the customisable spice level. Each meal is completed with a portion of Japanese rice.
I went for the tempeh ($13.80++), which is one of their 3 vegetarian offerings, and i enjoyed the combination of the strong bean-y flavour of the tempeh coupled with the curry. Spicy level 7 was just about right for me; Spicy enough to tingle my tastebuds yet at the same time not ruining/distracting the flavour of the curry. They do have options ranging till 20 for those who want a stronger kick though. .
