Just look at how pretty this is! Plus points for pistachio ice cream too. Second time ordering this and will definitely order again. The best french toast in my opinion soaks up all that goodness in the bread and this does that darn well + a layer of creme brûlée on top too.

Absolutely love mentaiko-anything, and was glad that this cheese x mentaiko combo was just nice! Adequate pieces of small diced prawns but can’t really pick out any crab meat though. Recommended for sharing as it does get ‘jelat’ after awhile.

In search of the best mille crepe cake in Singapore, I found myself standing in front of Henri Charpentier’s second branch located at Orchard Central and just staring at the wide array of pastries as well as cakes. My eyes wondered to the Matcha Roll Cake and Pudding Chou but my heart was set on having their Mille Crepe.

At $9.60 per slice, their rendition is definitely one of the pricier mille crepe cakes that I have tried. Supported by a base of classic sponge cake, the delicate soft crepes were layered with slightly more cream than usual and a little sweeter, in my opinion. However, still delectable and worth a try; the cake was fluffy and moist with the medley of fruit toppings to give it a touch of tanginess.

This tasted like a giant ondeh ondeh but of a different texture. The coconut and gula melaka were so fragrant we could smell them before cutting the cake open!

"Pura Vida" translated in Spanish means "pure life", which is also the name of this acai bowl at @coocaca.sg , a new kiosk along Grange Road just opposite Orchard Cineleisure that serves smoothies and acai bowls! At $12.90, this acai bowl had a really really generous serving of acai puree base along with an assorment of ingredients including mixed berries, bananas, almond butter sauce, ganola, sliced almonds and coconut water. Couldn't really taste the coconut water but the rest of the ingredients and the refreshing acai puree base more than made up for that ☺ They only have two tables though so you may most likely have to takeaway your acai bowl during peak hours!

Already serving authentic Spanish fare at very fair prices, especially considering its prime Orchard Road location, Tapas Club racks up further value points for its super budget-friendly Tapas Set Lunch ($12.90). Available Mondays to Fridays from noon to 2pm, the set offers four tasty variants, with main options like chicken and seafood paella and squid ink noodles paella. Each main comes with a different side (the mushroom croquettes sound delish), tomato bread and a soft drink, which we highly encourage that you upgrade to a Sangria (additional $3) for a boozy lunch. According to Burpple Tastemaker Wei Zhi Chiang, the portion sizes are just right, which leaves you with just enough space to share the popular Churros Con Chocolat ($8) with a few friends. The freshly fried dough sticks arrive warm and sport a lovely golden crisp, and are best eaten dipped in the bittersweet chocolate sauce.

The toast was served warm and topped with a dollop of fresh cream. Caramel drizzle was not as much and thick as shown in the menu but I thought it might have been too sweet. The French toast was great; some pieces were more caramelised while some were soaked up with eggs and fluffy. Would love to try the soufflés next time.

I love bread and I'm glad to say that this French toast satisfied me ☺️

Can't resist salted caramel anything & bought this! Liked it more than the Kueh Salat actually. A just right amount of cream with moist cake layers.
