A combination of everything. Spicy toppoki, deep fried breaded squid on top, caramelized kimchi, cheeSe, corn cheese, kimchi fried rice and steamed egg.

You can dip the spicy toppoki into the cheese and milk mixture to reduce the spiciness.

However it's too salty for our liking...

New favourite 😍 hot soysauce with garlic fried chicken. So good

I'm so addicted to Korean fried chicken. Deep fried crispy chicken coated with different sauce is too good to say no.

My favourite goes to fried chicken with soysauce and garlic. Chicken that fried to golden perfection coated with sweet savoury soysauce and garlic. Yum

We also ordered budae jigae and mango makgeolli to go with two whole fried chicken.

Opened up the menu from this newly opened Korean fried chicken restaurant in pavilion elite, the first dish on the first page that caught all my attention is this honey butter fried chicken. I wasn't a fan for honey butter, but Korean do made all honey butter product taste like heaven. Without second thought I ordered the honey butter chicken plate that come with fried chicken, fried potato and fried toppoki. Couldn't miss out beer for fried chicken too hence the signature cream beer from chirchir too.

However this led to huge disappointment. The honey butter fried chicken it's just some ordinary fried chicken that do taste like Chinese style fried chicken with fermented bean curd taste. The honey butter is serve on a small container and way too small portion to name the dish as "honey butter".

I'm not sure what might be the correct way of drinking a cream beer but this cream beer taste like a dallop of cream on the beer, it doesn't enhance the beer drinking experience nor match with the beer as well. I should probably stick back to traditional beer >

Premium pork skirt meat with cheesy ring for double enjoyment

Shinmapo is specialist in Korean BBQ and have over 500 outlet across the world. Recently they just opened up second outlet in The Garden Mall.

One of their signature is Galmaegisal (pork skirt meat) which is a premium cut in between belly and ribs. It's only 200g per pig. The galmaegisal come with original and spicy option, spicy option also served with the sinful melted cheese.

Volcano fried rice is make right beside your table, the fluffy scramble egg compliment so well with the spicy fried rice.

The famous fried chicken joint first store in Malaysia. Kind of dissapointed by the dried chicken.

Some additional for your regular Korean bbq. A ring of cheese and steam egg. The cheese melt while your meat is grilling. Once your meat is ready dip with cheese and enjoy the double guilty pleasure.

I was quite dissapointed with this joint for their bbq. However their jajangmyeong is quite good !
