To Taste
Used to frequent this stall for their excellent kopi and kaya toast however stopped due to job change. They roast the coffee beans themselves which gives it a signature taste unlike other traditional coffees. The kaya toast is done with the right butter and kaya ratio. Definitely worth to check out this stall.
Wouldn't know about this cafe if not for Burpple. Glad that we decided to give it a try given its good reviews. The main items like the Triple B and Ba Chor Hey pasta which are passable saved only by the eye candy desserts. Nevertheless this place is still worth a return visit due to its tranquil location aware from the hustle and bustle.

Place is excellent for families with kids as there's a big field beside for kids to run about. Food wise is mediocre at best, had the Fish n Chips, Parmigiana Chicken which are uninspired. Definitely not worth the high price tags. Good for 1 time visit for me. Thanks but no thanks.
Nice little cafe usually nested in the heart of Bedok Reservoir HDB estate. The "It's Salmon Time" and "Fuel Me Up" are wholesomely cooked and serving portions are more than adequate. The banana pancakes are delightfully fluffy and ideal for sharing after a heavy meal. Kudos to Refuel for pricing their menu reasonably. Definitely worth a subsequent visit.
Stumbled upon this nice quaint cafe with retro chic deco by chance. Tried the grain bowl which was a refreshing healthy choice for breakfast which I would eat daily. Waffles is a must try, done nicely with a balanced sweetness. Definitely worth a return visit.
Love the Gu Yu Kopi which brings me back to my childhood days. The traditional kaya toast is done perfectly like the good old days.
Chanced upon this Thai Eatery and we are delighted to have given this place a try. We ordered the following dishes:
1) Clear Tom Yum Soup
2) Papaya salad
3) Plain Omelette
4) Stir fried Kang Kong
5) Basil Pork
The dishes are all very authentic with fresh and generous ingredients. We enjoyed the Tom Yum soup the most. Any Thai restaurant worth its salt should be first measured by its Tom Yum Soup and Koat Aroy doesn't disappoint. Highly recommended if you enjoy quality authentic Thai food sans the bigger bills normally found at bigger establishments. 👍👍👍
It's good to be back and nothing welcomes you home more than a good bowl of fish soup with rice. I've wanted to try this famous fish soup a while back but never got round to it. So glad that I finally did today. I had the pomfret and added extra vegetables. The soup is so unbelievably good. Clear, tasty from all the fish and minced pork stock. I absolutely loved it. The minced pork is a nice addition which adds on a new dimension to the soup. The pomfret slices were so thin that you almost feel that a sushi master had sliced them. So good. It's a long way to travel and my cab fares were double of my actual meal but so worth it. Will be back for more. You can count on it.
