Soft, buttery and jiggly soufflé pancakes are a specialty of Moge Tee’s. Not the best around, but better than expected!

I personally love the combination of grilled cheese and tomato soup, and Provisions does it right. The cheese is savoury and flavourful and goes well with the sourdough. Tomato soup was fine, definitely enough sweetness and tartness to it. Wish they had put more cheese in the sourdough, if I was going to be eating sinfully I’d want to go all the way 😂

This is the Sunshine bowl with banana, pineapple, mango, chia seeds, granola and coconut flakes. A great combination of ingredients in a smoothie bowl and not overly sweet. A bit pricey though!

The legendary tamagoyaki sando, one of the many reasons why people flock over to this cafe for. For someone who didn’t love omelettes, I quite liked this! I also appreciated how thick the tamago was and how some mustard-like sauce in between the sandwich complemented the dish. Looks small, but best to be shared.

We really loved this! Drizzled honey and strawberries on top of their in house baked sourdough, topped with a little bit of fresh herbs and oats.

A quiet cafe on Heritage Lane at Empire Damansara. Came in here while waiting for a play to start at DPAC right next door, and it wasn’t bad at all! There is a range of bread/pastries, drinks and lunch/dinner menu items to consume. Coffee was above average as well.

Honestly, one of the better mochas I’ve had. It’s not sickeningly sweet and the chocolate is surprisingly quite deep bodied!

Cold pressed citrus juice, nitro coffee, honey, topped with coconut nectar. I loveee the zing of the citrus, a perfect cold drink for a hot day. The nitro coffee however was not as carbonated as I wanted it to be. But overall still a mighty fine drink!

Niko Neko x The Last Slice dessert collaboration. Matcha Dacquoise with Elderflower Jelly. Texture of a macaron, but bigger! I love this better than their croissants.

While the pleasant subtle earthiness of the oat milk is overpowered by the strong chocolate, this is still a good non dairy chocolate milk option. I paired it with the lemon & lime and salted caramel brownie chocolates (RM6.50 each). Preferred the brownie one!

Good stuff. They use niko neko hojicha powder to make the cheesecake and the deep flavoured, bodied and roasted taste is reminiscent of its cousin, coffee.

Homemade beetroot pasta with diced chicken, chili oil, poached egg and alfalfa. Simple and minimal ingredients, but packs a punch of flavour. Sweet, savoury and a little tangy - loved it. I even preferred this over the beef ragu pasta. And the pastel pink pasta is such a sight to see.
