Really love the fresh cream in this one, so smooth, appropriately sweet and not too rich! 🍈🍰

Lovedddd how the waffles were crisp on the outside but still so fluffy and moist inside! We got speculoos and pink grapefruit for our ice cream and utterly enjoyed both. Opt for the pink grapefruit if you’ll like something refreshing (especially apt in this killer weather) or the speculoos if you like something richer. Both were great nonetheless 🤗

Really loved the space and ~vibes~. Could have been a nice place to chill and ~zen~ out but it was wayyyy too crowded. Would have perhaps been a much better idea to visit on a weekday afternoon instead. Got the Matcha Houjicha latte and while it was recommended to stir well before drinking, I though that the individual layers shined best alone. The Houjicha was severely overpowered by the matcha once stirred. A good matcha latte nonetheless! Will be back to try the level 3 matcha ice cream next time, on a weekday afternoon that is 😆

For non-coffee lovers, you’ll enjoy the Chocolate Banana Cake. Atop moist chocolate sponge is a thick layer of chocolate and bananas. The chocolate sponge was moist and airy while the chocolate used was extremely rich and luscious. The bananas added a nice, natural fragrance and sweetness to the rest of the cake. However, the cake could get a bit too rich after a while, so make sure to share this with your friends!

A tulip-shaped molten chocolate cake is served with a shot of espresso at the side. Before eating, simply cut a small hole in the middle of the cake and pour your desired amount of espresso in! For stronger coffee lovers, you’ll want to empty the entire espresso shot into your cake. The substantial volume and strength of espresso will subdue the sweetness from the chocolate cake and overpower the chocolatey flavours. What’s left of the chocolate cake would its molten texture, so now you get an espresso molten cake – the best of both worlds. For other diners who are less of a coffee lover, I’ll recommend that you only pour the amount that you’re comfortable with consuming. That way, you’ll be able to savour the chocolate cake, with hints of coffee flavour highlighting itself.

If you would like to satisfy both your cheese tart and matcha craving, without exceeding your calorie count, go for the Matcha Mini. The tart crust was of the right thickness and baked sufficiently to achieve a golden brown without causing the tart to be hard. The filling was a good balance of matcha and cream cheese. A bite into the tart showcased the matcha first, with the cream cheese slowly revealing itself. In its entirety, the tart was not too heavy and could be delightfully devoured in seconds

This is a grilled cheddar toast topped with Brie cheese and served with honey. The toast itself was crisp on the outside, but moist and airy inside. Despite emptying the entire cup of honey onto the toast, the toast was not sickeningly sweet; in fact, the honey blended so seamlessly with the savoury cheddar that its sweetness was hardly noticeable. Having a lighter flavour compared to Cheddar, the Brie cheese contributed little to the overall savouriness of the dish. However, it provided a different texture to the rest of the toast. I would have preferred the honey and the cheese toppings to play more significant roles in the flavour profile of the entire dish, but the cheddar toast is quite delightful on its own.

While the filling was exceptionally melty and airy, I personally felt that the cheese taste was too light and intentional effort was required just to catch a hint of the cheesiness. A spoonfuls later, it just felt like I was digging into a cloud of air – that has no taste. The only distinct flavour was the apricot sauce spread on top - but isn’t the cheese supposed to be the star here? Diners who prefer a lighter cheese flavour will probably take a liking to this, for other diners, I recommend other dishes on Pablo’s menu instead.

Don’t think this needs anymore introduction but Low and behold! I love how Yole always does R&D and introduces new flavours every month. The flavour of the month is the Caramelised Cookies Ice Cream and I love how it has hints of the cookies without being too sweet! I also love the new mixed berry topping, it adds such a great sourness to contrast the rest of the sweeter elements.

I enjoyed how the espresso used was not too intense and just of the right intensity to give a little kick and awareness of its presence without being too overwhelming. The mascarpone cream was extremely smooth and edged towards the sweeter side, just as I like it to be. While it was a pity that the Bailey’s was hardly noticeable, it was not too much of an issue since the soaked ladyfingers and the mascarpone cream were so melodious together I completely forgot that there was meant to be Bailey’s in it. What a delightful way to end off a meal. Just a tip though, remember to share this with a friend! It might be too much on your own.
