I had the Red King Ramen and the noodles were well done at normal softness, pretty much everything was chosen at normal level. The spiciness was just nice even though I chose level 1 as I don't do very well with chilli. The broth was great as it had a good blend between the traditional pork bone broth and chilli. The egg was well done in the Japanese onsen egg style and the sliced pork belly was extremely flavourful and thick. Highly recommended.
The Salmon Aburi Mentai Maki was impressive as the freshness of the salmon went well with the delicately torched exterior of the Maki. I also ordered the Aburi Chirashi Don which was served with a generous portion of well torched fishes. Unlike its Bara Chirashi Don, the Aburi Chirashi Don did not have the usual sesame oil dressing which really made the Chirashi shine with its freshness. The waitress recommended a seasonal fish which we had, half-grilled and half-sashimi style. It was not the best but reasonably well done. Overall, it was a really good experience and the service was good with waitresses taking the initiative to refill my hot green tea. However, the seasonal special failed to leave an impression in my opinion.
