Don’t think there’s much I could complain about this. Bun was buttery and warm and the lobster came with a light creme fraiche. Much better than some other lobster rolls that I’ve tried in Singapore. Sufficient cheese on the fries and also the salad was tasty with the right seasoning.

Service was attentive as well. I think lobster roll is only served for lunch so super glad that i jumped at this treat for myself. TGIF!

I consider cedele a rather family friendly cosy place. My fav tofu miso pasta has been changed to red miso. Honestly preferred the old version which had pumpkin. This just has a lot of capsicum etc things that I don’t favour. Also felt like my linguine could be more well cooked. 😰 Not the best experience at one of my favorite chain stores but I will always give my comfort place another shot.

Back here again and a great place to chill with friends on Friday Night, not too noisy and great for conversations. I polished this dish. Chicken was not so dry this time around and I really enjoyed the brown sauce that went well with everything from the chicken to the mash.

Skip the fries which were a little blend. I’ll return for the desserts and fried chicken day!

This scallops dish is amazing. There’s some miso sauce which probably has butter in it. SUPER addictive and would have gone really well with the sourdough (but sold out unfortunately).

Came here because entertainer BUT do take note that cause of policy changes, the one for one only applies for the mains, not this plate of scallops nor any of the starters. Nonetheless, my friend really recommended this and I can tell why.

If I’m not mistaken, they serve some of the same food as Maggie Joan’s so if you’d prefer a more casual but costly vibe, Gemmills is the place to go.

Curry wok is that place that my friends and I used to frequent in secondary school when we felt rich. I haven’t returned in many years but the experience still felt as nice

Ngoh Hiang and Otah really stole the show. Otah has sooo much fish and Ngoh Hiang was wrapped with so mushrooms and carrots. The sambal packs a punch! I think we generally enjoyed everything and I’ll be back to reminisce the good old days again.

Had the tiramisu latte, pictured on the left. I liked it, wasn’t too sweet and gentle on the tastebuds. The coffee shot is an excellent place for a casual meet up with friends, cosy, not too noisy and reasonable prices for drinks and cakes. Please stay the way you are.

I never enjoyed non tater tots hash browns but the ones here are good and honestly doesn’t seem like frozen food. I hope I’m right about that. Added 50 cents for the extra cheese.

Took me so long to realise the existence of apiary and I am totally craving for this after every meal now. I went back thrice a week and my work place is not even central. Personal favorite is the chocolate because I love that it is not too sweet. Apiary is a bit milky for me. Despicable (me) is featured here too, no prizes for guessing that flavour. Among my friends, everyone had their favorite, so I guess it really depends. But I really love the fuss free vibe here at apiary. Will be back again!

Decided to get the brownie after seeing it on IG and stuck to my usual chocolate but it proved to be a bit too jialat. I will stick to the single scoop next time. Brownie is nice if you prefer the drier type. Other flavours featured are apiary and despicable me.

Do a quick google on this place - even though the name suggests speciality in curry but most reviews excluded the curry 😂 i ordered the salmon mentai as recommended and regretted not taking the larger bowl. This featured mango with ebi was rather delicious too. Also tried to the spicy tofu which was true to its name, a little too much for me but I loved the crisp of the tofu skin. The batter for the fried chicken was light and right for me. No doubt, I would return again. Brilliant little spot here at fortune centre.

Tiong Hoe’s tagline is better coffee and that was what they delivered. Loved that the coffee was served in a cup made from local potter Stella Tan.

Even though summerhill prides itself for its signature roast chicken, this pork collar was the winning factor for me. I love the tenderness of the pork collar and the lightness of the coleslaw complemented the dish well! Roast chicken was okay but I ate at cocotte previously, and felt like the roast chicken could be more tender. I will return for the pork collar and maybe to try the fried chicken if available.
