The bowl was entirely covered with beef, tender and truffle-ish 🤩 I personally preferred the mentaiko salmon don, though I felt it was missing some wasabi to lighten up the generous amount of mentaiko.

Rakki bowl occupies the same space as Candour Coffee! Hopefully I’ll be back another time in the day to enjoy some coffee 😆

Tried the lean meat instead of the usual pork ribs this time and that small bowl was amazingly able to fit a lot of meat!! The soup leans more towards the peppery side, rainy day food indeed 😆 I like how their crispy you tiao skin did not disappoint.

A bowl of pork ribs/lean meat/sliced fish, youtiao, braised peanuts/vegetable, rice and a drink for $10.90++ 😆 slightly pricey lunch but worth it once in a while!

Headed to the food area above bishan interchange without expectations and I was taken away by the first slice of beef I placed in my mouth. It was goood 🤤 There’s a pretty strong smell of the 🌿 in the soup that I initially didn’t like but still found it okay as I ate along. I’m not one who appreciates floury noodles but if you’re one who likes 手工面, I think you’ll like it.

红油抄手 was decent, not disappointing.

I couldn’t resist coming all the way here to get a taste of this Matcha Cruffin after seeing all the mouth water pictures on Instagram. It was the last one left when I arrived slightly before 4pm on a weekend.

Both my wallet and I was shocked that the $4.50 pastry was only the size of a fist/palm 😦 It was, however, well worth every cent I paid as a croissant and matcha lover 😍 Warm matcha oozing out as we cut it open into half. I loved it. I really did.

I really love good pastries.

Nice combination of smoked salmon, sourdough, cherry tomatoes and lemon oil. Crust of the bread was tough to cut, made my meal slightly unpleasant.
Overall verdict? Food was not bad but this dish was not $17 worth it at all :/ same for the salmon burger which was just the burger without any sides. Mac & Cheese was not bad though!

Pssst it’ll be $17 for 2 mains with burpple beyond 😉

Spicy chicken wings is what you must get! It was really gooood, crispy skin of a different type of flour coating I’m not sure what it was but it definitely had the crunch!
Pork knuckle meat was towards the dry side but parts with the crispy skin was pretty amazing 🤤 You wouldn’t want to miss on this 2 dishes because they were great, just as the boss recommended 😌 All the other mains we ordered (ribs, beef, lamb chop, grilled chicken) were not bad but you could do without them.

Make sure you get some craft beers too! They go pretty well with the food. Cheers!

Had a sample of 9 different craft beers and my favourites were Cherry Ruby and Golden Wheat!

Cherry Ruby's captivating aroma of fruity cherry sweetness was their Ladies favourite! Golden Wheat was close to a typical light-tasting beer taste, but with a light taste of bread crust. Kvass tasted the most unique to me. It's made from sourdough rye bread and is considered non-alcoholic due to its very low alcohol content! And that interesting glass of green beer was Greenpiece. Definitely did not taste as weird as it looks 😌

Next to the quiet driveway of Rochester Park sits Brewfest Brewery surrounded by greenery and comfortable music. I had an fun time with my pals drinking all the different beers from their beer tasting menu. Go ahead grab a few buddies over and I’m sure you’ll have a crafty great chat over a few light glasses of beer!

I haven’t had such a tasty toasted bread in a while! The typical all day breakfast ingredients were well done, nothing to complain about 😌 Add-on mushroom soup was good too. I’m wondering why I haven’t tried Saybons until now even though I’ve walk past it so many times at Junction 8.

Hawaiian and Fruit açaí bowl! Did you know the açaí fruit looks pretty much like blueberries and are actually very nutritious? They’re rich in anti-oxidants, calcium and fiber!

Nothing exception as it was simply a bowl of fruits and nuts. Slightly disappointed that it was served in the plastic container. But if you’re looking for a slightly healthier option for a meal or dessert with a bright and small place that feels like the beachside to chill, this is it!

It’s actually quite expensive $11.90 for Medium bowl. Got it 1 for 1 with my HSBC Entertainer App ✌️

A cool and soothing dessert, great to end your day with. Sweet mango, not sour 😉 Herbal Jelly is definitely more worth in terms of price as compared to Grass Jelly but you can choose either. There’s basically nothing to complain about this simple combination. Glad to see a dessert store like this at the basement of Plaza Sing! whitepuff approves 🤓

If you ever need a place to chill and chat after dinner around dhoby, this is probably it.

Not a fan of eggs, their thin slices of hard boil egg was actually pretty soft and made it really easy to take in. The simple yet nutritious ingredients did not seem to match the price point ($14, double slice) but with that presentation and ambience (and Burpple Beyond 😅), it was worth it.

Ample sunlight really makes food look much better 🙂

Your dream breakfast in bed, an early morning nutritious snack, the kind of holiday breakfast you would wish for. Perhaps the ‘you’ is just me, it was a bowl of comfort 😌
A very berry smoothie topped with fruits, granola and coconut flakes was really refreshing. The Social Space felt very welcoming and being well lit from natural sunlight during noon. This made the $12 pricey bowl all worth it.
