Japanese Food

Had a pleasant experience here. Ordered the Pork & seafood bites (Hei Zou) for $12. It was crispy on the outside, very juicy and fragrant on the inside. I also ordered the black pepper crab pasta ($18), which was very refreshing fusion of chinese and western food. I really enjoyed the sauce. I also ordered the chicken risotto ($18), which was the highlight of the meal. The chicken was tasty and juicy, and portion was generous. In addition, the risotto was packed with flavour as well. Also ordered the Hanging tender steak ($18), which was very rich. The Blue Pyrenees Bone Dry Pinot Rose ($6) was a good addition to the whole meal.

I absolutely love this place! I am generally not a fan of porridge but I thoroughly enjoyed their signature porridge and will definitely come back for more!! The porridge is full of flavour, the rice grains were plump and juicy, and they are generous with their portions and ingredients. I can say the same for their consort beehoon. The prawn paste chicken is a must try as well! In addition, the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely an ideal place to visit during the lunch hour, or for a casual dinner (: Highly recommended!!

The food here is really delicious! The top 2 dishes I really enjoyed during my time there were:
1) Chef selection skewers (5pc) $18 (pictured) - the skewers were so fragrant and so juicy, I highly recommend it to anybody dining there!
2) Pork jowl charshu $18 - the pork melted in my mouth. Eating the pork together with the sous vide egg as well as the pickled red ginger was absolutely amazing

The other dishes I ordered were:
1) Potato sarada $5 - This is unlike any other potato salad that I have ever eaten, and I felt that it was a very good starter to have!
2) Rosti mentai $9 - I enjoyed this dish as well, I recommend this to any mentaiko lovers
3) Aburi salmon mentai sushi $7 - A dish I'll highly recommend as well, it is so good!
4) Salmon Sashimi $14 - Fresh and thick pieces!
5) Pork bacon leek skewer $4 - Loved it as much as the other skewers we ordered

Overall I really enjoyed the ambience and the great service as well! On a side note, the co-founder of the restaurant is very passionate about the food and the shop, and he gave me good recommendations that made my dining experience a lot better! Will definitely return in the future

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! For starters, I ordered the Bro Bruce Quesadillas. They were hot, and were stuffed with a generous amount of cheese and meat. For mains, I ordered a Truffle Mac and Cheese and a medium rare Flame-grilled New York Strip. The Truffle Mac and Cheese is heavenly, it is so packed with flavour! Definitely worth the price. The portion is pretty big so I would recommend sharing it amongst at least 3 people. The medium rare beef cut was cooked to perfection, it was cooked to the right colour, the right texture and was packed with juices. Will definitely come back to this shop for these two mains! For dessert, I ordered the Milk Tea Waffles as well as the New York Cheesecake. They were all very tasty and had surprisingly big portions.

In addition, the service staff here are very friendly. The ambience is both suitable for a chill night out with a group of friends and for dates. Will be more than happy to dine here again!

I ordered their Green King ($15.90) dish, which seemed like an odd combination of ingredients (Basil, olive oil and cheese) initially but it turned out to be a very tasty and unique dish that I often crave for from time to time. The broth is rich and flavourful and the pork belly was absolutely delectable. In addition, I like that we can customise every aspect of our ramen, such as the noodle texture, the amount of special sauce, and the strength of the garlic taste. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoyed their friendly service staff, as well as the ambience and comfortable layout of the restaurant. Highly recommended!

The food here is amazing! My personal favourite dish of theirs is the Salmon Aburi Mentai Maki ($14.90), which is packed with flavour. Other dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed are the Salmon Don ($10.80) and the Sliced Beef Steak ($14.90). The Salmon Fish Head Miso ($5.90) is a tasty, light dish as well.

The service is great and the ambience feels good for a chill night out. Prices are definitely affordable and very reasonable for the quality of food that they provide. Will come back here for more!
