Happiness is when you get to admire & enjoy an adorable yummylicious meal! Loving the lovely presentation of the pusheen popping out the cup dish, “Pusheen Floating Fun Japanese Seafood Curry Rice”($23.90), a dish that curry lover would enjoy!

Personally, I feel that Kumoya Singapore is really generous with the seafood tempura (ebi prawn, salmon, scallop & calamari) and the seafood tempura goes well together with the japanese curry.
Time to visit the lovely cafe to say hello to the adorable @pusheen & enjoy the pusheen dishes from 6 Jan until end of March 2019.

Throwback to 2018: Pistachio Lava Cake from Ice Edge Cafe & Bar with one scoop of Gelato is definitely shiok during a warm & sunny afternoon like today. (Ps: I always find it therapeutic to look at the pistachio sauce oozing out from the lava cake). 🍽 @iceedgecafebar_sg

Introducing “Tira I miss u” ($10) from Kava Coffee, a new mouthwatering dessert added to their menu. The halal tiramisu dessert is freshly prepared by the passionate chef from Kava Coffee.
Personally, though I am not a coffee lover, but I find that one should try the dessert if you are at Kava Coffee! The sponge fingers were tasty & fluffy. Time to visit Kava Coffee & don’t be shy to tell them how much you miss Tira!

End your year with some yummy pasta from Kava Coffee.

Personally, I am a fan of cabonara and when I saw their menu that they serve seafood cream pasta ($14), instantly I am excited to try it.

Both mum and myself were impressed by their pasta as we did not feel sian/ jelat after having a few mouth of it. Moreover, the chef is really generous with the portion of the noodles and the seafood were fresh!

Was having some alone time at Popote to enjoy their daily lunch bowl set ($8.50) which comprises of a laksa mid joint rice bowl with a cup of ice lemon tea to quench my thirst in a warm sunny afternoon.

Honestly, even though the daily bowl sounds like a simple bowl but I have really enjoyed every part of the bowl. I love how this bowl reminds me of home cooked dishes with the yummy tender chicken meat with laksa gravy and the rice was served really warm!

It is a cafe suitable for people who work around the area to dine in with great ambience.

On a side note, the staff were really friendly and one of them even reminded me to be careful while eating as the rice is hot.

Initially, I was a lil worried about the taste & texture of the spring pancake, and whether the fried chicken will be greasy. However, after trying it, I concluded that this is one of my favourite dish from The Populus Cafe. The spring onion and corn pancake was not too floury/ heavy. The spring pancake fried chicken is served with their in-house special ranch dressing, which goes really well together with the succulent fried chicken! The fried chicken skin is legit crispy and the chicken thigh meat is tender!

Definitely gonna order this in the future when i revisit the cafe. 📍 The Populus Coffe & Food Co.

We were blessed to be invited to Lola’s Cafe to enjoy their secret brunch menu. The secret brunch menu includes a Mexican Brunch Platter which comprises of toasted flour tortila, house-smoked pulled pork, Guacamole, Purple Slaw, Charred Corns and Chipotle Mayo. In addition, we also shared the Lola's Big Brunch Platter which comprises of toasted rye bread, scrambled egg, honey glazed bacon, bratwurst sausages and signature honey paprika wings.
Lola’s Cafe is definitely a must-go-to-cafe for their honey paprika wings as its crispy and tasty 😋. It is the must order items for us whenever we visit the cafe.

We had it on the National Day when we visited the RSW Street Eats event. Sharing the calories together with a group of ppl 🤓. The rock melon bowl ($15) comprise of handcrafted artisanal soft ice cream paired with juicy rock melon, popping boba, cramalised cookie crunch and coconut sauce.
We particularly love the sea salt gula melaka soft serve with the refreshing & juicy rock melon. Will definitely visit them again in the future to try the other items in the menu. 📍 The Wicked Cream Co.

Another new food place uncovered at Tampines! We have visited Kuriya Market at Tampines 1 and tried the Hiyashi Char Siew Matcha Udon and Creamy Seafood Matcha Udon.

We were excited to taste the udon as it is something interesting interesting which we dont usually get to taste. The Creamy Seafood Matcha Udon was good, the bowl was filled with Japanese Matcha Green Tea noodles with prawns, mussels, Japanese fish cake, carrot & sweet corn in creamy broth. Whereas for the Hiyashi Char Siew Matcha Udon, the noodles mixed well with the pork char siew, vegetables, seaweed & bonito flakes in house special spicy sauce ($10.80). However, we preferred having the noodle without the spicy sauce as it taste a lil unique to us😂. Whereas, the matcha udon was good with a light matcha taste and the udon noodles were springly. 👍
