Cafe Coffee

Once again, thanks to #burpplebeyond, chanced upon this cheeky cafe! The food exceeds our expectations where I tried “steak and no eggs” but was not sorely disappointed given the potato side was so delicious- crispy on the outside yet soft and creamy on the inside! The steak was medium rare and all was well! Not just that the service was really good as the staff are so friendly and attentive! Refilling our bottles even after we finished our meal and was sitting down there to chill and chat! Overall a really good hangout place that I highly recommend 😋

✨ Not trying to be exaggerating or what but the combination worked wonders to my palate 💖. The brioche was soft, pillowy with a lingering buttery fragrance and I must admit I have a soft spot for soft buns (pun unintended) and hence I really enjoyed this bread! The thick slab of spam added a characteristic savoury saltiness to the fragrant and flavourful fried eggs. The sriracha mayo was creamy with a mild tinge of spiciness that further enhanced the sandwich. All sandwiches here are served with a side salad, which is a refreshing note to kick start or end your meal@.

Just when I thought I found my favourite french toast at another cafe down the street, oh my here comes five oars to beat that hands down. Its creme brulee complete with the caramelised layer atop a soft brioche, like how you would spread jam on bread. Ingenious.

Enjoyed some quiet time alone at apartment coffee. The name of the cafe suits the place: it reminds me of a cosy apartment with minimalist interior. They even got a gorgeous pine tree that conforms to the decor theme: no ornaments but still equally stunning.

Ordered a cuppa of El Chivero which has a fruity, apricot and chocolate aroma coupled with the creaminess of the milk foam. Thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and time at the place.

Was here on weekend at around 3pm and a few items sold out, so decided to try the lavender earl grey tea cake which is supplied by the better half. Ordered a whole cake of rose raspberry from them before so decided to give this a try, but found it a bit too sweet for my liking, and the earl grey taste / smell wasn’t as strong as expected. The coffee with oat milk is nice! Friendly staff and very nice deco!

Love the decoration and ambience for the Enchanted Cafe. It's a very cozy and quiet cafe to chill and relax. There’s no GST or service charge as well.

The Lu Rou Burger ($17.90) comes with fluffy buns and a generous amount of lu rou (braised pork). The lu rou is tender and flavorful. It also comes with a side of potato salad.
Enchanted serves a range of hearty brunch menu such as Big Breakkie ($17.90). Love the creamy scrambled eggs!
Ordered Bandung Milk ($4.90). The bandung drink is a well-loved beverage. Distinctly bright pink in colour, it consists of rose syrup and milk. You can’t leave Enchanted Cafe without trying out the Sorcerer’s Elixir ($9.90). The drink tastes good, but the real highlight of the drink is the presentation.

Settling for French Toast, Cocoa Granola and these addictive Umami Fries as we countdown to weekend.

Instead of the normal chicken & waffles, you'll get chicken and pancakes here. Chicke. was crispy but the flour coating was just right, not tok much flour coating the succulent chicken. Pancake was slightly sweet (the maple syrup???) And light. I take chicken & pancakes over chicken & waffles 4.25/5

Many burpplers’ serenading of Artichoke’s date pudding got me set on visiting, but man their savouries were what sealed the meal for me — most notably their Steak & Eggs (S$28++). Soft scrambled eggs that are perfectly seasoned, silky and buttery as hell, paired with 150g of tender and juicy flank steak cozily blanketed in a nutty, moreish pistachio pesto. As if that’s not enough, they throw in the yummiest (I kid you not) za’atar croissant. You’d never have tried the classic steak and eggs like this, that I can promise you; and for this it’s well worth the trip (and wait) down.

$18.50. Scrambled eggs. One of the fluffiest and richest among sg cafes. Huge love.

Interesting breakfast - soft boiled organic egg, crispy feta, fresh cucumber, olives, tomatoes, hummus with pita. Healthy mixed of vege & hummus with pita is loveee! ($20)
