Visited Michael’s Bar for dinner. Looking at the menu, there were a plethora of selections from bar bites to burgers, pizzas, and mains. Price was more on the steep side but still not extremely overpriced.
Decided to give the jalapeno poppers from the bar bites ($10 each) section a try and to my amaze, it was pretty good. It was paired with a salsa dip, which gave a bit of tanginess to every mouthful of the poppers. Crispy on the outside and juicy and cheesy on the inside. In addition, we ordered Michael’s Wings under the bar bites selection. There was a selection of either buffalo, ghost pepper, dynamite or deep-fried. We chose the buffalo’s wings. A little sour-ish for my taste (subjective) but it was well coated and juicy on the inside. Overall, it was pretty good.
For the mains, we ordered the signature lamb ribs - $28 and the grilled salmon w/ lemon butter - $21. Although the lamb ribs were on the pricier side, it was definitely worth the try. The first bite of it was filled with tenderness and juiciness. I personally do not like the strong smell of lamb but this was done just about right. The smell of the lamb was masked with their secret seasoning, which eliminated most of the lamb odor. The meat was super tender and moist, a few chews and you’re done (that’s how soft and tender the meat was).
Salmon was well cooked, not too dry and moist. It was paired with this amazing lemon caper butter sauce and a side of fries and salad.
In hindsight, the food was better than I expected it to be. Everything was above average and would definitely recommend and return. Would Highly Recommend trying the signature lamb ribs if you do not have a hatred for lamb. It is definitely worth the run for your money.
