Had a surprisingly good meal here! The place was packed at 815pm, and we were seated just after 830pm. A couple of the items we were eyeing were sold out by then.
Ordered the Baby Pomfret with Plum Sauce $17.80, but they’d sold out so they offered to replace with seabass instead.
This was really delish! Our favorite dish of the night. The sauce was sweet and went really well with the fish, which was crispy and tender in all the right places.

In Signature Pork Bone Soup. I preferred this broth over the beef one... so flavorful and rich! Didn’t enjoy the la mian as much. Next time I’ll either try the thick vermicelli instead, or the version with no noodles.

In braised beef broth. Soup was tasty and beef cubes tender. Best to eat all the beef cubes first so they don’t keep cooking in the hot soup!

Came for the noodles, but this far outshone them! Salty and sweet, this had a crunchy exterior n was delightfully soft in the centre. Yummy!

Perfect to pair with steamed rice. Eggplant with Minced Meat in Minced Garlic & Chili Sauce ($20). Sauce was sweetish, with a tomato-y taste to it. A nice change from the usual mince meat sauce eggplant dishes. Stir Fried Diced Beef with Sliced Garlic ($28). Stir Fried French Bean with Minced Meat ($18). Boiled Sliced Fish in Sichuan Pepper Sauce ($28).

Crispy rice bubble... so curious! We ordered this dish to see what it was about. The seafood soup was a cross between soup and gravy, and had a slight tang to it. The puffed rice crackers came served separately, so we assumed they were meant to be dipped in the soup? Not too sure. Glad to have tried this, but don’t think I’ll be ordering it again.

You can hear how crisp the skin is when the chef is slicing the duck! We topped up $20 for the 2nd course, to fry the leftover meat with mianxian, which was really good! One of the better fried noodle dishes I’ve had in a while.

Prawns, scallops & fish slices in a creamy, spicy gravy. The scallops stood out, they were really tender & cooked just right. Small portion came with 4 fried mantous, perfect to soak up the delicious sauce, which funnily enough, reminded me of otah.
