3.75⭐ 2nd time at Cherki, came here for dinner since we are nearby. I actually wanted to order Foie Gras Duck Fried Rice but this was excluded from the Burpple deal so I opt for the Baba Back ribs instead. It's tender and meat debone easily. WB's snapper is also recommended.

4⭐ Although I have been working around the area for more than 2 years, it's my first time eating lunch at Colourful Day Cafe. We came here for team lunch and I ordered the Rendang Chicken with Blue Rice. The rendang chicken is quite special as it's fried and then the rendang curry is drench over it. It's slightly spicy but still within my spiciness tolerance level. Peanut and ikan bilis are cripsy and crunchy.

The grilled sotong is executed perfectly and texture is extremely chewy. The assam fish is very appetizing while the beef is cooked in a similar style as rendang, beef is not tough too.
Overall, the dishes are above average only.

3.75⭐ Finally redeemed Klook Colonial Club Signature $50 voucher which I purchased for $25. We ordered a main each and otah for sharing to hit $50. WB chose his favourite nasi lemak and selected chicken. The nasi lemak also comes with a piece of prata which is very filling. WB remarks that the nasi lemak here is comparable to The Coconut Club. 🤔 I had the laksa and opt for soft shell crab, an unique combination. Didn't know that the laksa here is a mixture of yellow noodle and thick beehoon, I would have indicate only thick beehoon had I knew earlier. Laksa and otah are quite spicy for me that I starts to have running nose halfway through the meal. The food is above average albeit the pricer tag.

The nasi lemak comes with grilled prawn, otah, fried chicken, ikan bilis and sunny side up. However the price is double the price of hawker food even after using the burpple deal.
