Go for the dry kway teow or the yam rice (or both to share, cos it's worth it). Love the sambal and the soup that has a nice herbal tang.

Be prepared for a queue!

Really enjoyed the nutty crunch of the protein bowl, topped with fragrant almond butter!

Thank you @entertainersg for the one for one deal ;)

Some pandan gula melaka dessert from a cafe in KL.

The seafood risotto had so much goodness packed into it - scallops, mussels, prawns and sea bass - cooked in a rich seafood & white wine broth.

The mussels were small, but the really generous portion made up for it. The sauce was on the saltier side but it made a great dipping sauce for their charcoal grilled bread.

Very value for money! Can't wait to head back and try the prawn capellini.

As for the drink itself, it's something that's not for the faint-hearted. It's extremely rich, and unlike any other cup of hot cocoa you would have tasted in your life, ever.

I couldn't handle the saltiness of it all and had to request for sugar 😂

But who knows? It may be your cup of tea (or cocoa, for that matter).

Decent flavours, but not out to wow the tastebuds. The dipping sauces were unique - sriracha mayo, mango kaya & gula melaka - but unfortunately, not to our liking.

We tried a daring drink - teriyaki avocado latte. Not for the faint-hearted. We couldn't finish it. The PB&J espresso (last pic) was pretty good, though! An interesting twist to the usual cup of coffee.

Butterfly pea curly pasta tossed in sichuan garlic oil, garlic prawns, lapcheong crumble and tobiko to give that savoury crunch in every bite.

This was rather interesting, with so many influences from different cuisines put together. However, it was a taste-and-forget kind of dish; nothing too memorable. Vege wege faired way better in my opinion (see previous post!).

Never expected myself to enjoy a meatless pasta (I am rather carnivorous), but I did!

Asian pesto, burnt corn, mushroom mix, seaweed breadcrumbs (💕) topped with parmegiano regianno - it was a good mix of flavours altogether. My only gripe would be that the pesto could be a tad stronger. Overall, good invention!

We got the garlic bagel, and I thought that it paired pretty well!

Nothing to complain about this, but do be prepared for things to get a little messy.

Washed this heavy breakfast down with their housemade white cold brew, fantastic in this sweltering heat.
