The 𝙎𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙠 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞 (~$16) served up a mean buttery saffron sauce, coating the squid ink pasta well. Mad props for the addition of sautéed spinach atop the pasta for a clean cut through the butteriness. Scallops portion was honestly rather stingy, with 3 small (albeit tasty) scallops in the bowl.🍝

And for those who want smth lighter, I actually liked the Buttered Clams (~$18), bc it felt much ‘cleaner’
500g of clams was pretty generous — what’s there not to love? Pair it with the garlic base for a yummy pasta!

Sadly, I wasn’t much of a fan of the Basil Prawn Pesto (~$23). Was pretty excited to try it bc the pesto scent was wafting, but I couldn’t taste any at all :-( 🌿

Finally managed to try this place aft 3 tries.... 🤪 But okay it was worth the wait bc the Beef Shortribs with Tagliatelle (~$25 +$3) reeeally impressed me. I liked how the Tagliatelle held on to just the right amount of mild red wine sauce sauce — just enough to flavour the pasta and not to drown it out 🤤
.
The beef was tender and broke apart easily, and though I felt some pieces were slightly dry, this would be the dish I’d return for 🥩

Ordered the Tagliolini (~$48) as the main, and portion of caviar/ salmon roe was generous! However the pasta got a lil repetitive after awhile and it was kind of a struggle to finish everything 🍝

Mac and cheese (~$22) was actually quite good? Super cheesy and stringy on the surface but more creamy/ carbonara consistency inside, I was quite amazed at how it didn’t really get jelak and even more shooked at how I never had this before !!!! 🍝🧀
Oxtail ragu (~$26) had generous servings of meat and the pasta was huuuge! It was pretty tasty though the meat did get quite fatty!🐂
.
Truffle pizza (~$23??) was truffley goodness as usual though I always find it abit too oily, but it’s really so good I order this every time I’m here 🍕 Squid ink pizza (~$26) was nothing to shout about and I felt that the squid ink taste wasn’t obvious :-(

As a self proclaimed cream sauce hater I actually really liked the smoked salmon and prawn pasta (~$18.90)! Onion cream wasn’t cloying Nor heavy, adding a light creamy kick to the meatier seafoods.
Prawns had a nice bite and salmon was fresh, would actually be back for this!

Gonna be honest w you and say this was overhyped based on the reviews here. Seafood risotto (~$19.90) was generous in terms of Ingredients and seafood used, which I gladly appreciated. But the risotto was just... disappointing. Think mushy and soggy rice, but mushier and pretty tasteless.
Stick to their pastas! They were pretty good

If I don’t get the La Nonna truffle pizza, I get the Linguine (~$26) pasta 🍝 Served in a thick tomato cream base sauce and topped with shredded crab meat, this pasta was filling but not too jelak 😋 I liked how the pasta wasn’t done too al dente and the sauce wasn’t one dimensional and lacklustre (like many pasta places!)👌🏻

Not sure about you, but I’m sold when I see Uni Truffle Pasta (~$28) on the menu 🤤
.
Soft angel haired pasta was tossed well with a generous amount truffle oil, ikura and best of all, plump uni 🍝 Admittedly, the pasta was on the saltier side with the truffle oil overwhelming the weaker flavour of the uni, and imo the dish could be better by toning down on the oil 😛 But tbh at this price point it’s p decent!

Tried the Char Siew Miso Pasta (~$18), an attempt of a fusion between Asian and Western cuisine! Fattiness from the melt in your mouth Char Siew added a nice break to the saltier pasta base. 🍖 Pasta was quite mushy and soft though, and could be better having more bite.
