Christmas Festive Season celebratory meal with family at Crystal Jade Pavilion!

Here is what we ordered:
-Braised Ee-fu Noodles with Shrimp Roe ($20.80)
-Steamed Chee Cheong Fan with BBQ Pork and Chive ($7.80)
-Sauteed Carrot Cake with XO sauce ($12.80)
-Siew Mai with Crab Roe ($8.20)

@mr.onigirisg has opened a new second outlet at @vivocitysingapore !

The new outlet has a super zen vibe, with dine-in seats available too!

Mr Onigiri, as the name suggests, specialises in onigiris with local flavours! The onigiris are all made in house and loaded with very generous ingredients!

Here is what we tried:
-Beefy Beefy Onigiri (exclusive to vivo!)
-Golden Crispy Scallop Onigiri (exclusive to vivo and NEW flavour!)
- Signature Melted Cheesy Crispy Chicken Onigiri
-Crispy Tofu Fries
-SPAM Fries
-Iced Peach Oolong Tea

New western european restaurant @blackcherrysg at pasir panjang!

🍝Tiger Prawn Aglio Olio ($22++): This came with 4 large tiger prawn! The aglio olio sauce was however more oily than what i expected. I would also prefer if the spaghetti was cooked abit longer as it was still kinda chewy hard

🍝Al Granchio (chilli crab pasta) ($23++): Luckily we didnt wait for both pastas to be served before we started eating, because this second pasta dish we ordered only came when we were almost finishing the earlier plate 😂 with that said, the spaghetti here was softer and more to our liking! Sauce was great but we had to ration out the chilli crab meat while eating haha

Used the burpple 1 for 1 deal here! The 1 for 1 is only within the same category though (pasta; risotto; pizza), so pasta was the only choice we had after elimination since 2 risottos or 2 pizzas would be too much for 2 pax. Otherwise, the restaurant itself also has their own Feb 2023 1 for 1 promo, though the menu offering for the promo is a smaller subset!

Take a trip down memory lane at Old Habits!

Experience dining here with a very unique vintage ambience! Old school decor everywhere at all corners of the cafe! Brings back so many childhood memories!

Besides the nice cafe ambience, the staff were friendly, and best of all the food was GOOD! 👍🏻

Featured here are the following items:
🍄Truffle mushroom soup ($6.50): Very strong truffle oil taste! With some sliced mushrooms and mushroom bits! Super good!

🐥Sea Salt Caramel Roasted Chicken (half) ($17.50): Very tender juicy chicken, with a very interesting homemade sauce glaze! You get to choose two sides - We got mashed potatoes which was savoury and creamy, and fries which was well seasoned with chilli powder and crispy crunchy!

🐟Simply Salmon ($16.90): It was quite interesting that for this salmon, you get to choose whether you want your salmon medium well done or well done all cooked! Cater to all you picky eaters (like me :P)! Since there was a choice, i got for the all cooked choice! The pan seared salmon skin was SOO crispy! The best salmon skin ever! The spaghetti’s sauce was a homemade belachan chilli, and it was SOO tasty! Best “spicy aglio olio” ever! (Btw, the chilli level can be customised too, and we picked normal spicy!)

🌴Old habit coconut kueh ($9.90): To end off the meal, I recommend to get this! Super interesting coconut bread butter pudding that is served warm, and is souffle like and also like a soft tapioca kueh, with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream!

If you haven’t visited this place before, it is time to check them out! They have a WIDE VARIETY of food choices available! From salad bar, hot cooked items (there is even pizzas and pastas!), live station and also food for you to bbq yourself with their charcoal BBQ! They have super lots of meat choices, chinese skewers, oysters, and a seafood bar!

This is part of the premium pancake series, where the pancakes are made from special-graded flour air flown in from Japan! These premium pancakes are slow-cooked on low heat to fluffiness texture! A 30mins cooking time is required! Be patient for good food! :)


Egg benedict Pancake: Besides sweet pancakes, there is also alot of choices for savoury pancakes! This came with two poached eggs with smoked salmon, avocado & bacon topped with hollandaise and homemade cheese sauce. Ample hollandaise sauce was given, loving this so much!
Baked Apple French Toast: We also tried the french toast. This was made of danish bread French toast with baked apple, rich tea cream and comes served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The french toast was soft and pillowy!

Yuzu Passion Colada: This was a mixture of yuzu, passionfruit and with milk!
Ice Fruit Tea: This came with fresh strawberries, and lots of citrusy lemon orange slices!

Lemonades: Quench your thirst with the wide range of drink choices they have! I tried the Strawberry lemonade and loved it! Fruity, sweety and gasy to end off the meal!

Garlic Soy Sauce Wing: While dancing crab is a seafood eatery, they serve fried chicken too, korean style! The sticky sauce was good, very crispy wings!

Beer-battered Calamari: Best eaten while hot with the dipping sauce!

Live lobster roll with Cajun Fries: Who doesnt love lobster roll!! I absolutely love them! Meaty juicy sweet lobster flesh with the very addictive cajun fries that went with the cajun sauce from the live crab combo as a dipping sauce!
