The rare times I actually get dry noodles, itโ€™s for Top1โ€™s ๐˜ฟ๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐™ ๐™ˆ๐™ž๐™–๐™ฃ (~$4), tossed in black soya sauce and spicy chilli๐ŸŒถ .
-
With springy (and perfectly!) QQ noodles, it makes me question the kinda Umian/Ban Mian Iโ€™ve been having my whole life ๐Ÿฅบ
-
Meatballs werenโ€™t seasoned over the top Nor underseasoned, having a very homey comforting taste ๐Ÿœ
-
For a more fulfilling experience, try the ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ˆ๐™ž๐™–๐™ฃ (~$4) ๐Ÿคช Or maybe just get both while youโ€™re in the 20 min queue!

You would think chicken breast would be tough and tasteless, but the spicy sweet sauce from the ๐™†๐™ค๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ๐™ก๐™š ๐™๐™ง๐™ž๐™š๐™™ ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™˜๐™ ๐™š๐™ฃ (~$23.50) coated all the parts of the chicken well ๐Ÿ—

King of Fried Riceโ€™s Egg Fried Rice with Tobiko (~$6.50 + $1) was comparable to Din Tai Fungโ€™s, but at half the price ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
.
Fried rice was less eggy than DTFโ€™s and the pork chop was less peppery and slightly more soggy/less crispy, but definitely worth the price! ๐Ÿ›
.
Fluffy, pillowy fried rice paired with nice piece of oily peppery pork chop and a generous heap of striking tobiko mixed in, Iโ€™d be back for more ๐Ÿ˜‹

You probably already know about how good the ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ ๐‘๐ข๐œ๐ž (~$13) is here ๐Ÿ˜› but if you donโ€™t, itโ€™s spoonfuls of glistening eggy fried rice with fragrant spring onions mixed in, topped with glorious lean and slightly peppery pork chop ๐Ÿ›
.
My favourite thing about this fried rice is how generous they are with the egg ๐Ÿณ , and how the rice wasnโ€™t fried too dry! Pork chop was so... amazing... and addictive ๐Ÿ˜ pretty oily but Iโ€™d say worth the calories

National Day flavours are out this week!! New drinks include Gula Melaka Coconut Ice Blended ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฅ›: a good way to beat the HEAT recently, although the gula melaka was slightly too sweet for my liking (ask for less!) ๐Ÿฅฅ๐Ÿฅฅ The coconut strips added a good bite to the drink!!! Aaaand Iโ€™m pretty sure theyโ€™re healthier than your usual bbt pearls ๐Ÿ˜‚
.
Beetroot Soy Latte ๐Ÿฅคseemed to be a healthier option, not too sweet! Soy taste was slightly stronger than the beetroot imo, and this drink really grows on you ๐Ÿคช
.
Nasi Lemak MinjiangKueh ๐Ÿฅง filled with eggs and sambal, tasted like a curry puff but in a mjk!
๐ŸŒฟ
Thank you @jollibean_sg for the invite and good fooood (and drinks!) โ˜บ๏ธ

Chicken cutlet noodles + FuZhou fishballs (~$5.50+ $2 for 3) was a huuuuge portion ๐Ÿœ Noodles were abit too vinegary, but very springy and it had a nice bite to it!
.
Chicken cutlet was much more cutlet to chicken which I didnโ€™t rly like :-( but nonetheless it was still crispy ๐Ÿ— FuZhou ่Š‹ๅœ† wAsssss soooogudddd, the right amount of fishball to meat!!! Meat wasnโ€™t too fatty or dry ๐Ÿ˜›

Tried the Bulgogi Beef Bimbap (~$8.90) which reminds me of a slightly oilier sushi roll ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ Beef was supEr well seasoned, and the sauce was so addictive??? YUMMZA
.
I thought everything went well together, though Iโ€™d suggest eating the pieces in bites rather than putting the whole thing in your mouth! ๐Ÿ˜› Bc I tasted more depth and flavouring in 2 mouthfuls like how the cheese + veg added a diff layer of saltiness to the beef ๐Ÿ‚

IG @goodfomood

Had a choice of 2 meats (Lemongrass chicken breast and chargrilled chicken thigh), sides (fried enoki mushrooms and pineapple) for their medium bowl (~$12.90) ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿš
.
The tomato rice was nicely spiced however it was kinda oily :-( Chicken breast was too dry for my liking and flavouring of both types of chicken was strong. Pineapple was waYyyy too dry/hard and not juicy which was pretty disappointing tooooo! Pretty much only liked the fried enoki mushroomsโ˜น๏ธ

Feel like my go to place for Thai food is Golden Mile Complex๐Ÿคช
.
Green curry (~$12) basically saved the MEAL. Coconut milk goodness was so smooth and tasty we just kept going at it... Surprisingly there was ALOT of curry and chicken my Friend dabaoed some ๐Ÿ˜‚
.
Pineapple fried rice(~$7) was a huuuge portion and for some reason just seemed never ending though my Friend and I just ate and ate it ๐Ÿ˜ prawns portion wasnโ€™t much but the raisins were yUMz .
Phad Thai with prawns (~$6) was Super disappointing :-( I was 2 mouthfuls in and tasted like... nothing? Honesty tasted like fried kway teow, with raw bean sprouts occupying half the plate.,., but for some reason there were more prawns in this?
.
Prawn fried rice (~$7) was average and nothing to shout about

8/10

Lunch Set (~$16) consisted of a noodle, dumplings, and a drink! Had the braised pork noodle, which had springy chewy noodles with a decent amount of braised pork!
.
Original dumplings had me SOLD. Pan fried well such that one side is crispy enough but not annoyingly hard, the other sides of the dumpling were soft and easily bitten off. Meat inside wasnโ€™t a lot but it was adequate for the dumpling. Was never a dumpling fan since I usually disliked how dry it was but this...... Iโ€™m sold ๐Ÿ˜
.
Fried pierogi seemed to have a truffle-y taste to it, and it was sO YUMMY all that calorie counting... flew outta the window ๐Ÿ˜Œ To put it in simple words, it honestly tasted like a hash brown but a dumpling and better ๐Ÿ˜‚
.
Grapefruit tea was a nice refreshing touch to everything salty and fried we just ate

Chanced across this place and since I was realllly craving some Asian eats I decided to try this HEHEH
.
Teriyaki chicken bibimbap (~$9.90) was actually really YUMMY! Chicken was tender and didnโ€™t have any fat! AND! It was also not oily which made me feeeeeel good ab myself hehe. There was loads of veges and although I really hate veg, I ate all the veg here so thatโ€™s how good it is I guess ๐Ÿ˜‹
.
Buddy set meal came with 2 free drinks with 2 mains and a side ordered which is actually quite worth it in my opinion since the mains are pretty filling. Tried the sweet and spicy fried chicken (~$6) and I wasnโ€™t disappointed since the portion was pretty decent for the price! The flavouring was also sweet yet went well with the savoury fried chicken

Been having shrimp Chee cheong fun (~$4) from Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong fun ever since I moved near 5 years ago, and I still love it now ๐Ÿ˜‹ Rice flour rolls are really smooth and easy to eat, almost gliding down your throat ๐Ÿ˜ Shrimp was fresh and juicy, and soya sauce was slightly too salty but still good.
