The rare times I actually get dry noodles, it’s for Top1’s 𝘿𝙧𝙮 𝙐 𝙈𝙞𝙖𝙣 (~$4), tossed in black soya sauce and spicy chilli🌶 .
-
With springy (and perfectly!) QQ noodles, it makes me question the kinda Umian/Ban Mian I’ve been having my whole life 🥺
-
Meatballs weren’t seasoned over the top Nor underseasoned, having a very homey comforting taste 🍜
-
For a more fulfilling experience, try the 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙈𝙞𝙖𝙣 (~$4) 🤪 Or maybe just get both while you’re in the 20 min queue!

You would think chicken breast would be tough and tasteless, but the spicy sweet sauce from the 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 (~$23.50) coated all the parts of the chicken well 🍗

King of Fried Rice’s Egg Fried Rice with Tobiko (~$6.50 + $1) was comparable to Din Tai Fung’s, but at half the price 🤩👌🏻
.
Fried rice was less eggy than DTF’s and the pork chop was less peppery and slightly more soggy/less crispy, but definitely worth the price! 🍛
.
Fluffy, pillowy fried rice paired with nice piece of oily peppery pork chop and a generous heap of striking tobiko mixed in, I’d be back for more 😋
Ig @goodfomood
You probably already know about how good the 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 (~$13) is here 😛 but if you don’t, it’s spoonfuls of glistening eggy fried rice with fragrant spring onions mixed in, topped with glorious lean and slightly peppery pork chop 🍛
.
My favourite thing about this fried rice is how generous they are with the egg 🍳 , and how the rice wasn’t fried too dry! Pork chop was so... amazing... and addictive 😍 pretty oily but I’d say worth the calories

National Day flavours are out this week!! New drinks include Gula Melaka Coconut Ice Blended 🍶🥛: a good way to beat the HEAT recently, although the gula melaka was slightly too sweet for my liking (ask for less!) 🥥🥥 The coconut strips added a good bite to the drink!!! Aaaand I’m pretty sure they’re healthier than your usual bbt pearls 😂
.
Beetroot Soy Latte 🥤seemed to be a healthier option, not too sweet! Soy taste was slightly stronger than the beetroot imo, and this drink really grows on you 🤪
.
Nasi Lemak MinjiangKueh 🥧 filled with eggs and sambal, tasted like a curry puff but in a mjk!
🌿
Thank you @jollibean_sg for the invite and good fooood (and drinks!) ☺️
Chicken cutlet noodles + FuZhou fishballs (~$5.50+ $2 for 3) was a huuuuge portion 🍜 Noodles were abit too vinegary, but very springy and it had a nice bite to it!
.
Chicken cutlet was much more cutlet to chicken which I didn’t rly like :-( but nonetheless it was still crispy 🍗 FuZhou 芋圆 wAsssss soooogudddd, the right amount of fishball to meat!!! Meat wasn’t too fatty or dry 😛

Tried the Bulgogi Beef Bimbap (~$8.90) which reminds me of a slightly oilier sushi roll 🤪🍙🍘 Beef was supEr well seasoned, and the sauce was so addictive??? YUMMZA
.
I thought everything went well together, though I’d suggest eating the pieces in bites rather than putting the whole thing in your mouth! 😛 Bc I tasted more depth and flavouring in 2 mouthfuls like how the cheese + veg added a diff layer of saltiness to the beef 🐂

Had a choice of 2 meats (Lemongrass chicken breast and chargrilled chicken thigh), sides (fried enoki mushrooms and pineapple) for their medium bowl (~$12.90) 🍗🍚
.
The tomato rice was nicely spiced however it was kinda oily :-( Chicken breast was too dry for my liking and flavouring of both types of chicken was strong. Pineapple was waYyyy too dry/hard and not juicy which was pretty disappointing tooooo! Pretty much only liked the fried enoki mushrooms☹️

Feel like my go to place for Thai food is Golden Mile Complex🤪
.
Green curry (~$12) basically saved the MEAL. Coconut milk goodness was so smooth and tasty we just kept going at it... Surprisingly there was ALOT of curry and chicken my Friend dabaoed some 😂
.
Pineapple fried rice(~$7) was a huuuge portion and for some reason just seemed never ending though my Friend and I just ate and ate it 😝 prawns portion wasn’t much but the raisins were yUMz .
Phad Thai with prawns (~$6) was Super disappointing :-( I was 2 mouthfuls in and tasted like... nothing? Honesty tasted like fried kway teow, with raw bean sprouts occupying half the plate.,., but for some reason there were more prawns in this?
.
Prawn fried rice (~$7) was average and nothing to shout about
8/10
Lunch Set (~$16) consisted of a noodle, dumplings, and a drink! Had the braised pork noodle, which had springy chewy noodles with a decent amount of braised pork!
.
Original dumplings had me SOLD. Pan fried well such that one side is crispy enough but not annoyingly hard, the other sides of the dumpling were soft and easily bitten off. Meat inside wasn’t a lot but it was adequate for the dumpling. Was never a dumpling fan since I usually disliked how dry it was but this...... I’m sold 😍
.
Fried pierogi seemed to have a truffle-y taste to it, and it was sO YUMMY all that calorie counting... flew outta the window 😌 To put it in simple words, it honestly tasted like a hash brown but a dumpling and better 😂
.
Grapefruit tea was a nice refreshing touch to everything salty and fried we just ate

Chanced across this place and since I was realllly craving some Asian eats I decided to try this HEHEH
.
Teriyaki chicken bibimbap (~$9.90) was actually really YUMMY! Chicken was tender and didn’t have any fat! AND! It was also not oily which made me feeeeeel good ab myself hehe. There was loads of veges and although I really hate veg, I ate all the veg here so that’s how good it is I guess 😋
.
Buddy set meal came with 2 free drinks with 2 mains and a side ordered which is actually quite worth it in my opinion since the mains are pretty filling. Tried the sweet and spicy fried chicken (~$6) and I wasn’t disappointed since the portion was pretty decent for the price! The flavouring was also sweet yet went well with the savoury fried chicken
Been having shrimp Chee cheong fun (~$4) from Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong fun ever since I moved near 5 years ago, and I still love it now 😋 Rice flour rolls are really smooth and easy to eat, almost gliding down your throat 😍 Shrimp was fresh and juicy, and soya sauce was slightly too salty but still good.
