Steam warm mantou bun filled with Wagyu brisket Char Siew and wasabi ginger flower mayonnaise. It’s really good but petite portion. RM22 per serving.
I don’t fancy tomato that much on a usual basis but this salad was really good and I can’t find fault with their house made Stracciatella. It’s quite a hefty portion of heirloom tomatoes, basils, burnt bread croutons, Stracciatella, crispy onions in a Sherry vinegar and olive oil dressing. RM48 per serving.
Perfectly charred broccolini topped with smoked beef cecina crumble, shaved roasted almonds, Parmesan crisp and a light salted egg emulsion on the side. RM38 per serving.
I can’t deny the fact that the team behind Adelphi & Co execute steak really well. I love how exactly it turned out to be what I truly enjoy for this slab 440g melt in your mouth wagyu ribeye topped with roasted garlic head, beef jus, sautéed broccoli & mushrooms on the side. It complements perfectly with RWT 789 2014. RM80/100g of steak.
Crispy battered Halibut served with purple cabbage coleslaw, potato fries and tartar sauce. I opted for the sweet potato fries. Undeniable this is one of the best fish and chips in town. The batter was nicely coated without feeling extra greasy. RM38 per serving.
Arugula salad bowl with French dressing. RM12 per serving.
A very simple slice of warm dark chocolate cake layers with bitter chocolate ganache topped with whipped cream and pieces of croquant. Simply delish. RM18 per slice.
Al Dante Aglio olio with black olive and loads of chili flakes topped with deep fried soft shell crab. The spaghetti was quite tasty with a hint of citrusy taste. RM35 per serving.
Haven’t had such ginormous burger in a while. For the bun base, you may choose between charcoal, sesame and brioche, I opted for the charcoal. The patty made out of Angus Beef was cooked to medium to retain the juice in it stacked within cheddar, beef bacon, coral leaves, tomatoes and a fried egg. Such huge portion that it took me some time to finish but I love how flavourful and moist the patty is. This classic burger usually serve with a thick cut fries on the side but to make it less guilty I went for a bowl of salad. RM48 per serving.
Finally a decent and chic all day dining in town. I’m impressed with effort behind the team of Adelphi & Co for bringing another exciting eatery that features a lounge, bar and dining area right next to the port. This 120 pax establishment is tastefully furnish with a meat ageing chiller showcase next to a collection of wine rack. Menu ranges from a good choice of sourdough pizza, Mediterranean small bites, steaks, pasta, meatloaf sandwich, salads and quesadillas to go with house pour or specialty coffee. They do stirred up special concoction like Pandan Mojito and Chamomile sour for the affectionate to enjoy the Sunset view just right next to South China Sea.
It’s not a first I encountered a sourdough pizza but I’m thrilled that someone finally put a decent Neapolitan pizza base in town! Brownie points for the effort! Pizza crust was nicely fermented topped with Béchamel sauce, Parmigiano, Shiitake, Button mushrooms and truffle paste. Apparently this is the hit item on the pizza section. RM45 per serving.
