Bangsar dinner
More potent than the other two, this cocktails sees a mix of three ingredients: Remy Martin VSOP, Cointreau orange and fresh lemon. Wasn’t my order, but my friend loved it!
Solid meal for one! Love the sweet pomegranate with the smoky grilled chicken. And tasted even better with the garlic sauce.
It’s pricey for just three prawns, but each crustacean is fresh, plump and cooked well. I love the dukkah it comes with. It’s so flavourful and the salty olives work really nicely with the sweet prawns.
It’s been a while since I had a real good British Scotch Eggs. Remember each time when I head down to Borough market, I would definitely get my cravings fix as there’s an artisan store that sells one of the best scotch egg for picnic snack.
W1 Scotch Egg reminds me of those moment and taste no different than the ones in Great Britain. In fact, their version is so mean! Warm, crispy shelled beef meat encased around a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg served with a bed of Curry Aïoli and pickled red onions. Pickled onions enhance the flavours and cut through those greasy aioli. This dish definitely worth the calories! RM16 per serving.

I must say that Lucky Bo does this really well with their Josper oven. The first thing that hits you is the aroma and then the size! Yes, who says size doesn’t matter? In this case, it does.
I'd be nitpicking if I said this wasn't good. Flavours were spot-on — smoky, saltish and subtle. The smoked Wagyu skirt was cut just thin enough to give it a pleasant bite, save from chewy. Description says that's a cheesy potato puree underneath but it was mostly a regular mash I tasted. Still good as any!
Also enjoyed the incredibly good Rice & Shine (RM36.90), risotto with smoked duck. Highly recommended!
Although fried chicken wings seems to be an ordinary essential in every bars and pubs, the ones over here definitely distinctive from others from taste wise and large portion. They were brined in Chinese cooking wine prior to deep frying which leaves your palate that bitter linger taste of alcohol and sprinkles of Tzechuaj pepper gives you that kick. They are serve with a pineapple hot sauce. Definitely great munch to go with alcohol if you’re feeling peckish. RM25 per serving.
Lobster roll! Who doesn't love lobster roll. Although it might be the most expensive sandwich.
While the staff recommended the "smaller" Wagyu Tomahawk for two of us, and reassured us that it was perfect for two – yes, all 1.4-1.5kg of it 😵, the RM710 price tag was way just way too steep. It's probably best to bring at least four friends and share that or the 1.6-1.8kg (and the RM828 cost).
So we opted for this "baby" bone-in hunk of meat instead and wasn't disappointed (wish they trimmed it better though – lots of uneatable fats on the edges). It was perfectly seasoned and charred (might be a bit too charred for some) accompanied with a salty but addictive Bearnaise sauce and veggies.
So much rockets on it 😍😍 #takepicha #dinewithannna #livetoeat #pietroristoranteitaliano #ecmlibra #food #foodie #foodpic #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodgasm #foodporn #foodspotting #burple #omnomnom #🍕
