I must say i was quite disappointed though. The vanilla icecream wasn't creamy and milky enough, and melted super fast. I think its visible from the picture, but the ube coating was also not as thick as I had expected it to be.Even the chocolate coating for the choco cone seemed to be sadly thin. Contrasting this to Mcdonalds' Mcdips, i think i'd head over to Macs instead the next time 😅

Was told that the cake had to perhaps be left to thaw for awhile because when we were served it was still kind of frozen. So we took our time enjoying a swiss roll and let the cake thaw for at least 15mins. Not sure if its meant to be like this, but the cake still had this frozen/icy texture that reminded me of a icecream/sorbet cake instead.

Tastewise its a rather refreshing cake, with the sour lime curd being balanced out by the sweetness of the black sesame dacquoise and cookke base. However, i was expecting something more matcha-centred and thus felt rather disappointed with this cake, because the matcha wasn't as intense as i had expected and got easily masked by the other stronger elements of the cake 😕 If you're looking for something to satisfy those matcha cravings, i'd reccomend going for their matcha swiss rolls instead!

The balance of flavours was a little off for this dessert. There was just way too much gula melaka syrup i guess, and it can actually be seen from first glance. Perhaps some tweaking in the ratio of the different layers would yield greater results.

Smooth yam paste which had a controlled level of sweetness that was just right for me, and was really fragrant. The consistency of the paste was a hit with me; it wasn't overly thick and starchy, not watery and dilute.

I really loved the textures in this dessert. The crisp, flaky pastry layers combined with the fluffy chocolate sponge and smooth matcha cream was truly heavenly. There's also chestnut bits encased within the matcha cream. I felt that there was a nice level of bittersweet in this which will suit the palate of the sweet toothed as well✅

Yet another best seller is the Pompom, which, like the tourbillon fruit'the, leans more towards the exotic and tart flavour profile. The green apple cream and jelly added a kick of sourness to the cake. The jelly was perhaps a tad too sour for my liking, and reminded me of canned/preserved fruits, hence i wasn't really a fan of it 😅 However, i reckon that this would make for a great dessert after a heavier meal as its rather light and refreshing in my opinion!

Opted for this because I found out that its one of their best sellers. The pastry was so pretty that i almost couldn't bear to eat it😂

I'm generally not a fan of citrusy/sour desserts, especially those containing raspberry, but this was surprisingly okay for me. I didn't super like it, but i didn't hate it either. I guess thats because the tartness of the pastry wasn't too overwhelming-the balance was pretty good!

As if its not obvious enough from the name, the intensity of the chocolate here is not to be underestimated. However, i do wish that the chocolate could've been more dark as this was a tad too sweet, especially with the use of caramel. There wasn't anything else to cut through the sweetness of the cake, save for the thin crunchy base that didn't really do much for the cake overall😅

This was more on the sweet side, and although i generally prefer my chocolate cakes less sweet, i still loved this cake, especially for the textures in this one.

Smooth chocolate mousse together with hazelnut cream reminded me of a ferrero rocher. The smooth, creamy mousse contrasted well with the puffed rice which provided a nice popping crunch. Would totally order this again if not for the fact that they are already closing today🙁

Instead, the texture was interestingly fibrous-imagine that of dessicated coconuts.

Those who love their brownie fudgey would be pleased because they heat up the brownie for you so you get a chocolatey, fudgey mess😍 The brownie didn't really have any sweet potato flavour though?🤔 Or perhaps the chocolate had masked the flavour. That being said, I felt that the brownie was on the whole a little too sweet for me, and very heaty; Perhaps it would be better to share this with a friend or two because I had this on my own and I could feel myself getting a sorethroat halfway through😅 An alternative would be to perhaps get a scoop of refreshing ice cream to pair with the brownie. I would imagine the warm and cold contrast would be quite pleasing too 🙂

Yes please 🤤 When I saw @dear.nesuto 's story of their limited edition matcha-misu which is still under R&D, I just knew i would regret if i didnt get my hands on it 😅
Absolutely loved that generous heap of matcha crumbles which provided a nice crunch contrasting with the smooth tiramisu cream 😍 For me, the best way to enjoy the tiramisu would be to first dig into it as it is, then mix it up with that small vial of matcha sauce (which I totally wished there was more of😅) The tiramisu was smooth, light and creamy and I felt that there was a nice, controlled sweetness to it. Digging deeper into the tiramisu, there were also small pearls of adzuki beans! Yummy indeed, it took much of my self control to pace myself and savour the dessert slowly😅
