$6.90 for a single scoop because this was a premium flavour and topped up $1 for their gluten-free cone as always😅

The ice cream was smooth and creamy, and perfect for those seeking something less sweet. That being said, the purple sweet potato flavour was rather mild. I personally think that even Mcdonald’s rendition of the purple sweet potato softserve awhile back was better (and cheaper), albeit a tad sweeter.

With the recent hype over Mcdonald’s matcha softserve and people commenting that you can’t expect much for something so cheap, I would just like to urge all of y’all to give chateraise’s Kyoto Uji Matcha soft ice cream a try. It’s only $2.50, pretty wallet friendly, especially considering that i was walking around town and saw that the matcha softserve was selling for an inflated price of $1.70.

I think i can safely say that this is one of, if not the best matcha ice cream that you can get for $2.50. The ice cream is smooth and creamy and carries a bittersweet, earthy flavour worthy to be called matcha, and not like that of heaven & earth’s green tea drink . Even the cone is good, having a distinct black sesame fragrance.

Ghost Cocoa (?) can’t really remember what the name of the gelato was haha. Either way, the gelato was really good, having a strong milky/buttery fragrance to it, and the generous amount of bittersweet cacao nibs really contrasted with the smooth and creamy gelato to add a nice crunch. While the gelato was good, the waffle cone was meh, didn’t really have any fragrance to it but it at least managed to stay crisp.

Comes with your choice of ice cream, of which we opted for the salted caramel. The ice cream was way too sweet though, coupled with the chocolate sauce and roasted marshmallows, was a little too much of an overkill even though my sugar tolerance is quite high...

The waffles were really good though. Crisp on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. The marshmallows were nicely roasted to a nice, gooey consistency too.

Getting these $8.50 waffles (cheapest on menu) as our second item while getting another $15 waffles probably isn't the wisest thing to do,but i absolutely cannot help but have to order these whenever i'm at twenty grammes. One of their best items, seriously.

Smooth and creamy softserve thats packed with robust notes of roasted tea atop soft and fluffy waffles topped with little cubes of brownies which are seriously one of the best i've ever had! The brownies are also another reason why i always order this whenever i visit twenty grammes haha. So dense, rich and fudgey. So sinful but so good

The chocolate coating for this was super duper thick, the actual almond itself felt smaller than usual😹 There's no sugar added to it at all, which perhaps explains why it really carries no sweetness, except for the faint cocoa fragrance and the strong vegetal matcha notes.

This was one sinfully good cake. So dense, fudgey and chocolatey. I wouldn't recommend ordering this cake alone even if you absolutely LOVE chocolate and have a high tolerance for sweet stuff because you'll probably find yourself getting a little sick from the richness of the chocolate. A few mouthfuls and I was already feeling super "heaty"😹🤭 However, if you have fellow chocolate lovers with you, this is one cake you'd definitely have to order.

This was better than your average matcha macaron from elsewhere, but the thin layer of matcha cream was hardly enough to satisfy my matcha cravings😅 The macaron shell was crumbly but i would have liked it to have a little more chew/bite to it, and the meringue-like sweetness of the pastry shell was a little distracting, so while i think its worth a try, i probably would not repurchase this to satisfy my matcha cravings

On the left's the kinako, which is roasted soybean powder, which carried a pleasant, nutty flavour, which i preferred to the matcha, perhaps because the matcha was a little too mild for me as compared to matchaya's. To be honest, i felt that even donki does their warabi mochi better than tsujiri's😅 Texture wise, it really depends on your personal preference. The warabimochi here has a firmer texture, less melt in your mouth than most.

Was rather reluctant to try because i've had their matcha icecream when they launched it in Singapore previously and found it to be a rather sorry excuse of a matcha icecream, tasting rather like Pokka green tea😅 Not sure if thats still the case now though.

Surprisingly, I liked the mcflurry more than i thought I would😹 Like all mcflurry, this uses a base of vanilla ice cream. I guess the name “matcha dip” is due to the use of the matcha sauce, which tasted familiarly like the matcha mcdip cones i’ve had at their other overseas outlets. The matcha sauce is good, slightly sweet of course but carried with it a lingering bittersweet matcha aftertaste. I also particularly enjoyed the crispy little bits which further elevated the textures of the dessert and a slight nutty fragrance.

Tastewise, it had a nice green tea fragrance, but can get a little too sweet after awhile. The sponge layers (especially the bottom layer) was a little dry though, and I don't think its from being left on display because when I purchased it the whole cake had just been brought out??🤔 #burpple #burpplesg #matcha #matchadessert #cake #tiramisu #ilovematcha #whati8todaysg #whati8today #sgeats #eatmoresg #instafood_sg #singaporefoodlisting #sgfoodblogger #sgfoodies #sgfood #sgfoodhunt #sgfoodhunter #sgfoodtrend #myfooddiary #sgfooddiary #sgcafe #sgcafefood #sgcafehopping #foodforfoodie #foodforfoodies #foodexplorer #singaporeeats #hungryalreadyeats

The highlight in this obanyaki would be the soft warabimochi, which carries a subtle matcha fragrance and sweetness with a rather melt-in-your mouth texture. I also definitely had fun boomerang-ing that mochi pull while getting judged by others; just things i do for the gram 😹

Perhaps because i'm not a fan of redbean, so i didn't really fancy the flavours in this, with the generous amount of azuki which came with kernels of beans still intact and the not red bean paste. Some may be pleased to know that they didn't seemed to be sweetened, so this obanyaki would be suitable if you're looking for something thats lower on the sugar level

Despite its green aesthetics, the matcha dough didn't carry much of a matcha fragrance. I did like how it was moist and fluffy with a slight chew to it. It was surprisingly not as dense as i thought it would be!
