Recently visited & tried this new kid around the corner & boy am I'm glad we got a dope ice cream parlour nearby!!

@burntcones opened slightly over a month ago & is located right opposite @ollacoffee at Sunset Way! They're serving up waffles, waffle cones & gelato options that are pretty unique & can definitely fight the popular ones that are in the scene.

We tried the basics such as the hazelnut, and also unique ones such as the Kaya chendol! Hazelnut was 100% on point with its nuttiness & creaminess. The Kaya chendol was quite mind blowing as it had the essence of the milliners of a chendol, but had that sweetness of the Pandan jelly / Kaya flavour.

Best part, they open till midnight daily! So you can grab a scoop or two whenever you're craving for it!

A new addition right after the CB period, SMÖÖbar added in Rambürger to their listing to provide you simple hearty Ramly burgers!

You've got an option of either chicken or beef, and either a single or double option, which makes it extra yummy!

Apart from #burpplebeyond, they've also got promo on Fave for takeaway meals for 2-3 pax or 4-5pax! Don't say bojiooo.

I called in advance to order so that I didn't have to wait too long at the restaurant. Unfortunately, some of the dishes that I wanted were out of stock, but nonetheless, it was still a hearty meal!

The standouts from this meal was the Mushroom Risotto & the Tortellini!

The Unami earthy flavours of the risotto filled the air as we opened each container. While it doesn't look like much, it tastes a whole lot better.

The tortellini (looks more like ravioli) was packed with spinach & ricotta & each piece was stuffed yet perfectly sealed. The balance of the sauce & the ravioli was just right!

If you have a chance, do go for their pizzas as well! Worth every penny!

Tomato Base, Burrata & Basil - 3 simple ingredients, but becomes a perfect mix on the pizza.

Each slice was tangy, yet savoury, and with a hint of herbs. Definitely a slice that you can chow down easily, this Burrata pizza stole our hearts and stomach the second it hit our tongues.

What I enjoyed as well was the thin, light and airy crust, which was hand-pulled before being thrown in the oven!

Located along the stretch of restaurants & bars in Lorong Mambong, Più 39 is the latest addition to that stretch serving up hearty classic Italian items, with a few local twists.

If you're a fan of hand-stretched thin crust pizza, this is for you! Their Diavola ($19) is a simple one, that comes with a tomato base, mozzarella cheese & salami.

These 3 ingredients combined to create a savoury bomb of a pizza, and if you threw some Tabasco on, you'd got yourself a perfect slice!

Served with fresh prawns, squid & mussels tossed in their tangy signature Tom yum sauce, this pasta packed quite a punch!

As I don't take mussels, they kindly obliged to changing it up to more prawns without additional costs!

Pasta was slightly overcooked (but I think most would find it alright), but taste wise was pretty alright.

Their tomyum had a slightly sweet note to it, but it does help by cutting through the spice, without being too overwhelming!

Tucked at the second floor of Bishan Stadium & overlooking the track is Good Bites, a pretty, aesthetically pleasing space serving up decent bites in this central area.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, we managed to get 1 for 1 pastas from their option of 6. Apart from that, they do also serve up burgers & healthy bowls!

For their Seafood Aglio Olio ($14.50), it comes with fresh prawns, squid, mussels, lightly tossed in olive oil & garlic with spaghetti. However, we requested for pure prawns as my sister doesn't take the other 2 & they kindly obliged with additional fees (yay, plus point)!

Pasta was slightly overcooked, but came as a decent portion with fresh plump juicy prawns! Flavour & taste wise was spot on, without being too oily, definitely a dish to have if you're looking for something light & simple.

Mid-day snack under the weather's immense heat called for some healthy açai bowls!

Managed to grab some açai bowls (cups rather) at Thrive by Boxgreen x Açai Affair at 1 for 1 thanks to #burpplebeyond!

We had the Coco Glow! which consisted of layers of açai & coconut sorbet (yum), fresh fruits, superfoods & a topping of choice (I chose cookie butter).

The combination was really tasty, with fresh fruits such as strawberries, bananas, blueberries, pineapples, Kiwi & dragon fruits which gives you that bursts of flavours! As well as the extra crunch through the superfoods such as granola, Chia seeds & coco flakes!

A large portion really does fill you to the brim, & definitely works as a meal replacement!

Another winner from the menu was their grain / bowls - Ribeye Fiesta. We topped up an additional $2 for cauliflower rice - chopped cauliflower cooked with peppers & garlic.

To top it, you get a perfectly medium rare ribeye, smooth creamy guac, poached egg & parsley.

The ribeye was soft to bite and flavourful on its own. Paired with the cauliflower, you've got yourself a pretty healthy & hearty bowl!

Heard so much of this bowl of kolo mee since they were at Hangar that it was the easiest decision to make when we had to decide what to order!

This bowl of Roasted Pork Noodles aka kolo Mee, comes with eggless kolo mee (mind blown), mushroom salad, poached eggs, Japanese anchovies, parsley, spring onion & mint.

It may sound like your typical noodle bowl, but this bowl packs so much flavour, paying $18 for it was totally worth it!

Mixing in their spicy sambal, each component of the bowl complimented the other, making it easy for you to just lick up everything in it under minutes!

Promo aside, the Tom Kha Capellini packed the perfect Tom yum punch into every strand of capellini! It came with hints of lemongrass, with a slight sour tang, followed by a kick of chilli!

Topped with minced charred shrimps, ebi & shrimp floss, you’ve got yourself a great fusion of Thai & Italian!

Made my maiden visit to The Laneway Market cause I found out that they were on #BurppleBeyond!

I’ve heard quite a fair bit about them & guessed that food will be pretty good since they were a sibling restaurant of Brine, which serves up really good dishes!

One of my favourite from the mains that are available for redemption was their Signature Dashi Risotto ($21). I first tried this dish over at Brine and it was an immediate winner! The risotto was cooked perfectly with a bite without being too soggy, and each mouthful was filled with umami! The dehydrated enoki mushrooms that tops the risotto adds a crunch to each spoonful, making it easy to dig in again & again! Definitely something to try for all mushroom lovers!
