Saw them on an episode of Food King. Plenty of attention to flavour, with great attention to spices and textures. The Pig Trotter ($6) was the standout, though the mains ($3.50), though sometimes a little dry, were certainly delicious.
Wish they had a few vegetable options to balance out the fats, but I guess you could get it from the stall next door. Easily a 4/5.

Malcolm has come a long way way since Neil Road and it absolutely shows. We tried the Omakase menu and it was a joy. A little pricey, but worth every single penny. This Buah Keluak ice cream was as good as I ever remember it. Other notable mentions was the Assam Squid, Winged Bean Salad, Lamb Kebab and the Wagyu Rendang.

Good job Candlenut. Will definitely be back.

This was a really good plate of Wan Ton Mee. The lard didn’t feel overwrought, the noodles were delightful and the ingredients were a pleasant surprise. If you’re hungry, get the Jumbo cos the Large ($5.50) was too little for me. Also had the Chicken Gizzard ($3) but the Thai Fried Pork ($6) was perfection with the provided Chili sauce. You’ll enjoy this, I guarantee it.
