But the serving size was more than generous and could have fed 3-4. We had the most delish calamari, done fried and grilled, freshest grilled trout, seabass fillet and sea bream. Surprisingly awesome food in Slovenia and a welcome change from the fare in Salzburg
The famous Bled Cream Cake from the original source, Hotel Park. We were there off season and stepped into the cafe, waitress immediately offered THE cake. Decadent is the word here, flakey 7 layer pastry sandwiching an egg custard & cream layer. Surprisingly moreish and not too sweet. It's definitely worth a try if you're around the area, just about right for two to share.
