So creamy and delightful! We enjoyed every spoon of it and it was gone in no time. The French really do know how to make simple dishes shine, and Le Bistro du Sommelier really takes me back to two months ago when I was in Paris.
We spread it over fresh warm baguette slices they provided, and the duck tasted so, so rich. The portion given was generous enough as well. We loved it so much that we polished the plate clean. Will be back to try more of their starters, and I expect that they will be exceedingly good as well!
This iberico pork was cooked to perfection. Each slice was juicy and tender, and flavoured just lightly enough so that we could taste the sweetness of the pork itself. It was paired with a small portion of mash and red peppers. Such a great set lunch - we will be back!
Such a great main on their set lunch menu. The beef was so tender and soft, and the sauce was rich and flavourful. Probably one of the best beef cheeks I’ve had in Singapore at a wallet-friendly price.
Having just returned from Barcelona about a month ago, I had my fill of Spanish tapas, including delicious iberico and croquettes there. However, the mushroom croquettes here were really good, and exceeded my expectations. These two (chorizo iberico on toast & mushroom croquettes) were our chosen starters for their weekday set lunch.
This was cheaper than the tenderloin, and slightly less tender and juicy - but still exceedingly value for money and beautifully presented.
This was to die for! The beef was done so perfectly at medium rare and just slightly crispy on the outside. The fats were melt-in-your-mouth and the portion size was amazing. What can I say - great value for money with their set dinner.
Such a good rendition of a classic burrata dish! The slight char and smoked flavour gave it an additional dimension of flavour, and the tomatoes provided good contrast. Loved this appetiser as part of their dinner set.
The pork was extremely well flavoured and tender, paired with a rich sauce and some potatoes. Our only gripe was that the pork was in such a small portion - the pork was sliced so thin (not more than 1cm thick) and it disappeared so fast from our plates.
I’d say this was pretty adequate, but not amazing. The chicken was soft and tender, and the pesto sauce was really rich in flavour, yet not too overwhelming. Everything went well together, but I guess for a main it felt a little plain and not too noteworthy. Nevertheless, I feel that their set lunches are extremely value for money.
This was so mindblowing - the tuna was lightly crisp on the exterior and extremely soft within; our knives sliced through it like butter. The dish tasted so fresh and refreshing, and we were left wishing this could be available in a larger portion, as a main. Such amazing food here!
Buffalo milk mozzarella with Italian San Marzano tomatoes & basil - this was one starter we chose for their weekday three-course lunch set. It was perfect! The buffalo milk mozzarella was so fresh and creamy, pairing perfectly with the sweet tomatoes. We mopped this up in a heartbeat.
