The beetroot soon kueh comes as a vegetarian option besides the carrot soon kueh (which was sold out that day). Had expected a stronger flavour from the beetroot, but still pretty enjoyable. Classic is a definite favourite for me with crunchy flavourful turnips within the silky skin.

My first time trying their soonkueh after hearing so much about them a couple of years ago. I’m really impressed with how translucent and thin the skin is unlike most places that come with semi-hard thick skins. Filling was really generous. Special shout out for the ku cai— fragrant with no bitter aftertaste. Bak kwa was a bit sweet for my liking, but a creative approach I would say. We love the hae bi hiam although it’s not spicy.

A pretty decent dim sum offerings tucked in a buzzing coffeeshop in AMK. Everything is priced at $1.30 so don't expect out-of-the-world quality. My favourite of the lot is the deep fried yam and chee cheong fan with prawn. The pao was also pretty cheap- $1.30 for 2 pcs! Heard that they made all the dim sum in house, but not too sure about that though it's definitely better than the frozen dim sum quality. Will be back soon!

This is the bomb! I like how the exterior is a bit crispy but still doughy. The salted egg custard is overflowing as you break the bun — salted egg porn alert! The custard could have been smoother, but can't complain for the quite affordable price tag. It's a must-order!

After the horrible crispy mee sua cake at Swee Choon, I could rarely find a similar dish at the similar price point elsewhere. Glad that Dim Sum Haus' rendition of the crispy mee sua cake is pretty good. Love the crispy exterior and moist mee sua within.

A tad sweet for my liking, but I did enjoy the fluffy bun. It's packed with so much filling!

I personally think it's more apt to be called Chinese dumpling. The dumpling was loaded with shrimp and soaked in the black vinegar sauce. I love the tangy, slightly spicy taste as I bite into the soaked dumpling.

An interesting fusion of seaweed chicken and tobiko in a dim sum form. It was pretty juice and flavourful, but not really my favourite since I still prefer the traditional dim sum offerings.

Pretty decent har gau with yet another huge crunchy prawn inside. A dim sum staple that I always get whenever I have dim sum.

A creative and refreshing bowl of dessert after all the fried and steamed items. Really love the sweet yet cooling aftertaste, and the goji berries just make it taste even healthier.

Smooth silky skin wrapping huge chunks of shrimp, soaked in fragrant soy sauce. Was quite surprised to find such huge shrimp especially when it costs less than 5 bucks. Super worth it!
