Rakki Bowl is where you would be stepping into a café filed with a strong aroma of truffle oil that was destined to stay for good 🤤🤤🤤 as every table ordered their specialty - Signature Truffle Wagyu Don ($25.90 for Large, $13.90 for Regular). ⭐
.
Featuring a generous amount of thinly-sliced wagyu beef & a perfectly runny onsen egg which lay atop their secret-flavoured rice blend, finished with a drizzle of irresistible Italian Black Truffle Oil, those with a heavy palate would surely enjoy this bowl! ❤❤❤
.
I’m not kidding when I say that every mouthful was bursting with flavours! 😋 The beef was indeed pretty tender despite being not too fatty, & it just screams TRUFFLE!!! 💯 The jiggly onsen egg made everything in the bowl gel together so harmoniously. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
.
The cons is that it might get a little surfeiting after a while due to its richness in flavours, so bring a friend along if you’re ordering the Large portion! 😉
.
Might not be the best beef bowl around but definitely memorable! #burpplebeyond fans would surely rejoice over this! 💕

💯

Are you someone with adventurous tastebuds & always in search of fusion dishes to intrigue you? 🤔 If your answer is yes, look no further than @pastasupremosg, as their haus pastas are bound to challenge your tastebuds! ✔
.
My favourite has got to be their Supremo Porky Marinara ($14++), which features long pasta made with activated charcoal drenched in house-made marinana sauce. ❤❤❤ The fresh pasta carried a nice chew & soft bite, presenting a more desirable texture than their curly pasta which were generally very soft. 👍🏻
.
The savoury elements on the plate were well complemented by the sweetness of the tomato-based sauce. 🤤🤤🤤 Be it that huge chunky meatball, seared bacon slices, crispy pork croutons & a shower of Parmigiano Reggiano, they all brought so much flavours & textures to the plate. 💕
.
Loved every component of this dish! 😋

😘
.
Tomorrow is the last day you can catch some authentic Japanese snacks & treats at Takashimaya B2 Food Hall! 😍😍😍 With a wide variety of products specially flown in from Japan, you'll surely be spoilt for choice! ✌🏻
.
It's my first seeing this Creme Brulee Roll Cake with Maple Syrup! Is it i noob? 🤔 hahaha! Anyway, this is bound to satisfy your sweet tooth! 💯
.
Featuring a soft sponge cake with whipped cream & a huge custard cream centre, the sweetness is not overwhelming but instead, was full of milky & eggy custard flavours. 💕 The caramelised sugar atop gives a contrasting texture with a slight burnt aroma 🤤 Top it with a squeeze of some maple syrup for that sweet woody flavour that completes the overall taste profile! 😋😋😋
.
Drop by today or tmr for a treat! 👌🏻 I also love the Mochi Obanyaki (mochi pancakes) that are absolutely chewy with generous filling! ❤

Absolutely loving these Taro drinks from @yifangtea.sg! As a Teochew妹, i love all my stuff YAMMY like yam cake, yam paste, yam ice cream etc, so having orh nee in my bubble tea is certainly a dream come true for me! 💕
.
Taro Latte & Taro Green Tea Latte ($5.70 each) uses taro mash imported from Taiwan, which is just pure yam sweetened with cane sugar. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This is evident from its colour that bears resemblance to a typical yam paste! 🤤The crew here then processes it further to a finer pulp while still retaining some yam bits for a pleasant bite 😋 No preservatives added ok! 👌🏻
.
PRECISION is key as they weigh the amount of yam in every cup for consistency! 👍🏻 Pair it with fresh milk for a clean taste & every mouthful will be bursting with the earthy flavours of yam! 😍😍😍 Green Tea Latte will be good for those who wants a thinner milk taste. 😉
.
Definitely a YAMMY drink! Have you gotten yours yet? 😉
.
Thank you @yifangtea.sg for helping me combat the unbearable heat! ❤

It’s the last day for SingTel users to enjoy 50% off a bowl of a la carte SOUP at Soup Spoon! 👌🏻 Don’t say bojio ah, cuz good things must share! 😉 Simply flash the promo page on your SingTel Rewards app! The promo applies to 8 types of different soups (inclusive of my favourite Tokyo Chicken Stew & Meatless Minestrone) but this time, I opted to try my bro-in-law @loongwye’s recommendation - Beef Goulash! 😍😍😍
.
This hearty bowl of soup ($8.90 for regular) features a tomato-base beef stock with quite a generous amount of NZ grass-fed beef! 🥩🥩🥩 The  marinated beef cubes were pretty tender & not overly tough or chewy, which I really liked. 👏🏻 Not too gamey as well, probably masked by the sweetness of the tomato paste flavoured with a little sour cream, & peppered with fresh herbs & spices such as sweet paprika. 😋😋😋
.
You’ll also find a myriad of fresh vegetables including carrots, potatoes, whole peeled tomatoes, green bell peppers & celery. 💚💚💚 Was surprised to even find chewy shiitake mushrooms too! 🍄 The soup was simply brimming with so much ingredients that every spoonful was bursting with flavours & a good bite! The soft bread roll acted as a nice dipping tool & filled me up further. 👍🏻
.
All in all, this made a wholesome meal & I’m thankful that my protein & vegetable intake were well being taken care of. ❤ More importantly, there is no use of MSG or preservatives so it didn’t leave me feeling thirsty! Best of all, I got this at $4.45 - what a steal! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Fancy some tender lamb? It is undoubtedly not an easy feat to handle lamb but @citrusbythepool does it pretty well! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
.
Serving up their Cajun Lamb Rack ($21.90+), which features grilled lamb rack served with seasonal vegetables & mashed potato, topped with homemade brown sauce. 😍😍😍 The lamb was juicy & not overly tough nor chewy, well-complemented by the savoury brown sauce. 💕
.
A pretty decent rendition as it was not too gamey! 👍🏻

BREAD is my favourite staple so @pastasupremosg’s Stuff on Bread series really got me excited. 😍😍😍 I must say that the brioche on its own was the star for me. ⭐ Nicely toasted till crispy on the exterior but remaining soft & fluffy in side, the sweet-savoury flavours when you munch on the buttery toast was simply divine. 🤤🤤🤤 May this be the Bread of the Day (which also includes sourdough, focaccia etc.) when you visit! .
Here are my take of the 4 creations in order of my preference:
.
🔹️Avocado & Feta ($4.50++): my favourite combination! 💚💚💚 The creamy smashed avocado was full of earthy flavours, while the feta cheese perfectly complemented it with its mild savoury notes. 💯 It’s topped with strands of fresh mint for a refreshing herby touch, which you can easily pick out if you’re not a fan of it (just like me). 😂
.
🔹️Bak Kwa Jam ($5++): I expected the bak kwa jam to carry more of the honey caramelised flavours but this jam leaned towards the savoury side. Quite salty but pretty delectable when paired with the toast 😋, especially with the firm pork bits contrasting with the soft brioche. 🐷🐷🐷 Topping it with fried shallots added a nice crunch & fragrance! I liked it! 👍🏻
.
🔹️Mushroom & Black Truffle Cream ($4++): I was expecting it to scream mushrooms & truffles but it turned out to be a pretty mild blend. 🍄 Still got that earthy flavours of mushrooms but just not as rich as I would like it to be. 👌🏻
.
🔹️Cheesy Cheese AF ($5++): Featuring a blend of mozzarella, cheddar, peppered brie & blue cheese, this is definitely something for the hardcore cheese lovers out there. 🧀🧀🧀 They are not kidding when they say it’s cheesy AF, but I personally found it too one-dimensional. Definitely not for those who dislike ‘smelly’ cheese cuz the blue cheese is bound to turn you off. 😅
.
Which would be your favourite? 😉
.
Thank you @pastasupremosg for the invite & the ever-friendly Jasmine for being such a great host! 😘😘😘

🎶 If I share this FRENch toast maybe? 😉
.
No reservations are allowed at One Man Coffee so be prepared to wait or be nestled outside, just like my group of 6 did! 😔😔😔 It was scorching hot on this fateful Sunday but the tables inside were perpetually occupied (which the crew promised me twice to move me in ~20-30mins when other customers left but it never happened! 😭 Oh wells!) As much as the environment was unpleasant, it still enjoyed my catch-up with my close friends! ❤
.
Their rendition of French Toast ($15) surely satisfied my sweet tooth! 😍😍😍 Featuring thick French toasts with caramelised banana, strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts & salted caramel, plus an additional scoop of vanilla ice cream (+$4), this certainly made an indulgent treat. 👍🏻
.
Our vanilla ice cream dusted with cocoa powder melted really fast & was reduced to a pool of creamy swirl due to the scorching hot weather 🔥🔥🔥 (& we were seated outdoors due to unavailability of indoor seats).
.
Thankfully, the thick fluffy toast served as good sponges to soak up the melted ice cream, which salvaged the ice cream a bit. 😋😋😋 Fans of cinnamon would surely like this as much as I did as the pillowy-soft toast was slathered with a generous amount of cinnamon flavouring, topped with a snow of icing sugar. 💕
.
Applause to the caramelised bananas for being perfectly done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That alluring gloss on the nicely-browned sugar was truly reminiscent of the top layer of crème brulee, rendering a good crunch when paired with the naturally sweet & soft bananas. 😋😋😋 Both the slightly sourish strawberries & blueberries as well as the crunchy toasted walnuts balanced out the overall taste profile a bit 💯, though I would have appreciated more of them to achieve a greater balance. ✔
.
Overall, this was a dessert plate that I enjoyed a lot. ✌🏻 Besides the 1-for-1 deal under #BurppleBeyond, it would have been even more enjoyable if the ice cream lasted longer & had more tangy fruits! 😊

Gotta catch em’ all~🎶

It is upcycling game strong with @strangersreu PORK and Broccoli ($21.90++)! ✅ Both the name and looks of the dish may look unassuming but this was a pleasant surprise - a case of under-promise and over-deliver. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
.
Far from the impression that broccoli stems are extremely tough & unpleasant, these are steamed & slow-roasted to impart a highly manageable good bite while locking in its natural sweetness. 😋😋😋 The chef has certainly done a great job in turning this raw ingredient that is usually discarded into something really pleasant! I will never look at broccoli stem the same way I did! 💯
.
The star of the dish has got to be the pork collar ends! ⭐⭐⭐ Judging from its thick cut/size, I was expecting a really tough chunk of meat but my worries were totally uncalled for! 👌🏻 Being a less popular cut as it has a tougher texture, these are sous-vided before roasting, resulting in a huge pinkish chunk of meat with slits of juicy fats that is pull-apart tender. 💕
.
Laid on some broccoli puree, drizzled with coffee shoyu & burnt onion jus, everything was on point for this dish for me. ✔ So good that it kept me wanting more! 😍😍😍

Somehow, these plain-looking buns, breads & baGUETTEs that look unassuming GETs me 🤤 more than pretty cakes do. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
.
Filled with the aroma of freshly baked breads that u can smell from miles away, this is almost heaven on Earth for bread lovers. 😍😍😍 Yes, I am back again at my favourite bakery in Whampoa, Sing Hon Loong!
.
Freshly baked daily with no preservatives, I simply love their crusty baguettes - the loud crunch when the auntie sliced up my baguette was so gratifying! 💕 Even more so when i put the crispy sides with fluffy centre into my mouth! 😋
.
Indeed a taste of nostalgia! ❤❤❤

💚💚💚
.
While you can’t go wrong with their chef’s creations, I opted for the Create-Your-Own salad bowl/wraps at $9.90. 😊 @shopbackgo was having a 50% cashback promo that day so essentially I got mine at half price! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
.
First, I chose the wholemeal wrap (other choices include regular, tomato or spinach) for a healthier option as it contained less sugars. ✔
.
On top of the romaine lettuce salad base, I could choose 7 toppings which gave me a huge dilemma due to the plethora of ingredients available & everything looked so fresh & vibrant. 😍😍😍 Ended up choosing cherry tomatoes, broccoli, black beans, chick peas & roasted pumpkin 💕 Took the crew’s recommendation for grapes & sweet corn (she prob saw me undecided & wanted to move the queue! 😅) .
A wide range of >20 homemade Asian & Western sauces await you at this point! 🤩🤩🤩 Some interesting Asian sauces include Singapore Chilli Crab, Thai Tumeric, or Japanese Miso, while the Western sauces includes classics like Classic Caesar, Smoky Ranch, Basil Pesto, Balsamic Vinaigrette etc. In line with my #eatclean April plan, I forgo the sauce. 👍🏻
.
Love this healthy & yummy eat! 😋

🍕🍕🍕
.
Yes, there has been a long-drawn debate & battle on whether there should be pineapples on a pizza. & it is obvious which side I’m on, isn’t it? 🍍
.
Hawaiian Pizza is an all-time favourite for my family & I, so even if that means an additional $0.50 on my Personal Pan takeaway (starting from $5), I would willingly give it to them! 💯 Undoubtedly, there have been many pizza chains sprouting in the Singapore F&B scene but having an ‘old’ taste bud, nothing beats Pizza Hut. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
.
Featuring soft fluffy thick crust that has a nice crunchy exterior, it is laden with a generous amount of savoury ham & sweet pineapple cubes. 😍😍😍 Slathered with some tomato sauce & a luscious coat of melted cheese, this combi is simply irresistible! 💕
.
Share with me your favourite pizza flavour! 😋
