Noodles are springy and the chilli really packs a punch! Recommend for those who love spicy food :)
Ordered this and spicy nachos. The breakfast comprised of eggs done in your choice, sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, hash brown and toast. Generous portion and not bad! The star was definitely the spicy nachos for us though. Delicious spicy ground beef topping, generous amount of guacamole and chips!
The beers are worth and try and coffee is decent too. Overall would recommend going to this place as it also has a nice interior and seems nice for a chill night out with friends.
Burpple 1 for 1 is valid for all dishes $25 and below.
The lunch set at dumpling darlings is really a value for money! For $16(excluding GST and service charge), you get a bowl of noodles, a ramen egg, a plate of dumplings, and a drink! The egg noodles were tasty and the dumplings were delicious too. I recommend the original! Drinks are very creative as well. Highly recommend this place but do be prepared to queue!
Generous portion of salmon that was nicely seared. Rice was well seasoned as well. Good for a quick lunch that has value for money-especially with the Burpple deal!
This is a breakfast sandwich(available from 730-1130 on weekdays and all day on Saturday I believe).
Overall quite tasty with fried egg, hash browns and bacon! Worth it with the Burpple 1 for 1 deal.
The burgers here are delicious! The muddy burger consists of a beef patty and a beef chili topping. The burger is served with thick-cut fries and truffle cheese sauce, which was amazing! The cappuccino here is also delicious and smooth, would definitely recommend coming to this place!
I would say that this is worth a try, but not worth queuing very long for! The Demi glacé sauce pairs well with the egg, however the egg and rice itself is nothing to shout about. Rather reasonably priced and very filling!
Waffle was soft and fluffy and paired well with the maple syrup. The seasoning of the fried chicken was nice but the chicken itself was quite dry. Overall above average but rather pricey.
Also ordered the signature pancakes which was delicious but came in a massive portion. Definitely for 2 to share!
Generous portion of salmon that was nicely cooked, rice was well seasoned too. Very worth it with the Burpple one for one!
The porridge at sin heng kee is truly a cut above the rest! It may look like a simple bowl of porridge but the flavors are amazing.
I ordered the century egg and lean pork porridge. Unlike other porridge places, this place gives thick slices of lean pork that are well seasoned.
Worth the queue and the sweating, definitely a must-try!
A unique dish as the restaurant uses noodles that are thicker than ramen-think more of an udon-like noodle.
The noodles are very flavorful and they give tons of spring onions and seaweed. The sauce is quite spicy too and packs a punch!
At $10+ for a regular sized bowl(including soup and rice), I would say this place is worth a try!
However, it can get quite “gelat” towards the end so those who don’t like strong flavors might not like it as much.
We visited this place because we had the burpple beyond deal. The restaurant has a special menu for burpple beyond promotion. We ordered the B burger and iberico pork cheek pasta.
The burger was very average: the waitress did not ask us how we would want our burger patty to be done; the bun was toasted nicely; the caramelized onions were more sour than they were sweet. The fries however, were delicious and crispy and came with a homemade ketchup that went well with the fries.
The pasta was bland but the pork cheek was flavorful and tender.
Overall, I would not come back to this place but with the deal it is more value for money. Hopefully the other items on the menu fare better.
We spent $24 in total, non including GST and service charge.
