Odd name for a French cuisine. The dish was made up slices of magret duck (duck breast) and served with pumpkin puree and cherries. The duck was well seasoned and incredibly tender that it melted in my mouth. Actually loving it better than the beef.

The beef steak was a lean cut of beef with recommended medium-rare doneness. A tad red for my preference but the meat was fork-tender and juicy. And as a first for me, it was served with a unique and savory miso pesto. Smothered some of the sauce on and it brought a nice unami taste to the beef meat. Definitely worth every buck! 👍

Ehhh...isn't it supposed to be Yakitori? The don came with a bowl of rice and topped with some pieces of grilled chicken. Lettuce and mayo cream were served alongside the nicely marinated chunks of meat. Average satisfaction overall.

The yakiniku don was made using regular beef that were thinly sliced and grilled, and served on a bowl of rice. Onions served alongside the beef were sweet and topped off with a ramen egg. Overall the don was quite bland and lacking in flavour (perhaps due to the lack of sauce), but the beef was tender. Worth a taste for its price value!

Saw this new restaurant-bar by chance and decided to give it a try. What was supposedly a bottle of Yuzu Soda that we added on to complete our lunch set, turned out to be liqueur. 😄 Apparently this is Tamano Hikari Yuzushu, the brewery's first-ever yuzu liqueur to be produced, with 10% alcohol content. It was really light with a bittersweet aftertaste that excite my tastebuds (and heart). Yumz!

Just found out that this dish is relatively new to the menu. The herb crust gave the fish a tasty crunch and retained its freshness. It was a simple yet satisfying main.

Rich and creamy tomato-based risotto with prawns and basil. The risotto was al dente and the prawns were fresh. Overall an average dish as I felt it was lacking depth in flavor and I got bored of eating it.

An absolutely healthy and comforting appetizer. Perfectly pan-seared scallops on a bed of creamy cauliflower puree with buttery green peas that gave it a crunch factor. The sweet pickled onions gave the dish an overall interesting contrast in flavours (and I'm not a fan of onions), and totally elevated it to the next level.
