Pleasantly surprised that this is actually not too bad. Smokey, tasty and we asked for extra cockles. Generous servings too!
Not the best imo, but definitely can try if you are in the market and want decent ckt.

I have been frequently going to Whampoa Wet Market but usually in the early morning. And this stall only opens at 12pm!.

Do note that they only open at 12pm, and the Uncle fries it a plate at a time.

I would recommend this stall if you are around this area and need a good char kway teow. Add more cockles and I would skip the pork lards as they were rather stale on the last plate I had.

One of the most generous servings for a bowl of $3 wanton noodles that i ever have had. Maybe I should have opted for the $2.50 bowl instead.

The noodles are well-seasoned & wantons are pretty good too. We ordered a bowl of dumplings soup ($3 for 6 pc) and they are delicious as well. My only complain would be the noodles are slightly overcooked.

Reposting one of my all time favourite fried oysters. It’s not the crispy sort, slightly wet, sometimes very wet, the flavour in this fried oyster is just amazing.
It is not shown in the menu, but you could also request for the “wet” version to compare. It is like fried oyster soaked in really good broth.

Personally i always tell the uncle to fry it longer for me. 😉
