Next up for $10 nett again, we have Buta Don with Miso Soup from Yakitori Tsuyoshi. Check out the charred slices of pork meat, served with that perfectly poached onsen egg, gently set upon the rice.
The char siew is so tender and yet flavourful, having absorbed all the goodness from the tonkotsu broth. It’s pretty lean and so the fattiness of the meat isn’t visible from these slices. With that said, you can find tiny pieces of fats floating in the broth, but in all honesty, without them, the broth wouldn’t be as deliciously tasting.
What I really loved about the scallops here were how flavourful they were, oozing with juices, it was the dish that was savoury enough to compliment the sweet Pumpkin Soup.
Starring at this photo of the Beef Cheek is making me hungry. Even if you had no teeth, you would be able to eat this dish as the meat was so tender and soft! I’m definitely coming back to Cosmo Restaurant & Wine Bar for this again!
