reasonable priced comfort food. Changed location from where they used to be but standard remains.. This table that feed 4 pax only cost less than $30.. 👍🏻👍🏻
The steak was cooked via charcoal hence there was a good smoky taste to it, however the cooking consistency was not good... order medium rare and half my steak was med to med well, the other half medium rare... read other reviews and realised its a norm here so didn’t bother asking the staff to change. only worth it with burrple beyond, then again they said that since we using beyond, we can’t pay with credit card and didn’t explain why 🤷🏻♀️ i would rather go to isteak if i ever crave for fuss free steak...
show it works here if you have to order at the counter at entrance, they ensure you have a table before sending the order in to the kitchen. you have to queue again even if it’s adding on to your previous order. queue can get quite long if the person infront take a long time to order. But i would say the food is very authentic and good! this pork dish has a very strong garlic taste yet not too dry. also order their tomyam soup ($10-18 depends on ingredients used). You can choose between normal spicy, less and more spicy. i went with the normal one and it was really hot! even for a spicy lover like me and my family 🌶
Tasty beehoon, but having tried the original one in JB (sanlou), this pales in comparison. Nevertheless still a good compliment to go with seafood dishes. Didn’t make reservations but still managed to get a seat in 15min in sunday evening. Place was very crowded though.
Signature white pepper crab flavour. They actually have quite limited flavours for crab (eg. white pepper, black pepper, ganxiang). They don’t offer the usual suspects like salted egg and butter. White pepper wasn’t as flavourful as i expected it to be, not spicy and just more salty...
Taste pretty similar to soup spoon with mushroom bits but more diluted. Add $2 for the garlic bread.
Very satisfying sandwich; think generous servings of ham with melting cheese between two slices of crispy toast. The addition of tomato also made it less ‘gelat’. Portion is quite big for ladies!
Had a team lunch with my company at Firebake. Nice ambience with limited seats and nice sourdough bread. Friendly and informative waiter is a plus point!
However the snowfish was too salty, but the waiter replace it right away. Great service!
Wine taste was not too overpowering yet flavourful. Would recommend this dish 👍🏻
very special veg dish, the sauce was sour due to the lime yet very refreshing. 👍🏻
Taste of the wheatgrass was not distinct, drenched in a starchy sauce with mini pieces of prawns and veg. nothing to shout about for this dish.
Very thick and strong herbal taste, some parts of the duck was rather skinny though. Dian Xiao Er was said to get advice from the JB shop called 鸭王, tried both and they were indeed very similar.
