Oui! French!

Came here with my friend and got their Mix & Match 3 Course Set Meals for 2 pax which consists of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts.

We ordered their Salad de Paris, Beef Meatball, Signature Half Roasted Chicken, Chicken Aglio Olio Pasta, Milk Pudding and Homemade Mango Pudding.

Salad de Paris consists of garden salad, dried cranberry, cherry tomatoes, avocado, black olive, pine nuts and French dressing. Garden salad had some vegetables which were wilted. French dressing was slightly acidic and maybe had cranberries in them(?). Pine nuts were roasted so you the flavours of the pine nuts were quite prominent.

Beef Meatball consists of 6 meatballs with a choice of cranberry or Diane sauce. We got the Diane sauce which taste similar to a brown sauce. Chicken-y and savoury. Not bad, similar to IKEA.

Signature Half Roasted Chicken with a choice of mushroom cream sauce, cranberry sauce or Diane sauce. We had the mushroom cream sauce. Chicken was well cooked, meat wasn't tough. Mushroom cream sauce was quite weird. Did not had a mushroom-y taste. It was quite sweet. Taste kind of like a coconut cream sauce(?). However my friend did enjoy the sauce.

Chicken Aglio Olio consists of spaghetti, shredded chicken, turkey bacon, chili flakes and parmesan cheese. Spaghetti was well cooked. Chicken and bacon were ok. Pasta seasoning was on point, pretty good. Parmesan cheese could have been more generous.

Milk Pudding. Consists of milk pudding, maple syrup and crushed Ritz. Love the milky pudding with the sweet maple syrup and salty Ritz biscuit. Great combination.

Homemade Mango Pudding. Mango pudding, mango sauce and mango bits. Honestly mango taste wasn't as pronounce as I like. Also there were only two pieces of mango.

Ordering is easy. Menu and iPad are placed on the table. Once you're good just key in your orders in the iPad, comfirm it and wait for your food to be served. Overall not a bad place to dine in. Food is not bad.

250g Bone in Pork Chop, Cajun Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Mustard Brown Sauce. Pork chop was nicely seasoned and well cooked. Every bite of the meat was flavourful and not too tough. Potatoes was mildly flavoured. Roasted vegetables consisted of carrots and zucchini. Carrots were crunchy and the zucchini was tender. Mustard Brown sauce tasted similar to black pepper sauce. Overall really like this dish and would recommend it.

I also ordered the Crispy Battered Mushroom ($10) served with Garlic Aioli and Truffle Mushroom Alfedo Pasta ($20).

The batter of the mushroom were crispy throughout and didn't turn soggy. Mushrooms were unseasoned, only giving off its natural umaminess. The aioli somehow tasted more like mayonnaise to me. Overall found this dish so-so.

Pasta was Linguine Pasta cooked in Truffle Mushroom Cream Sauce with Medley Mushroom, Onsen Egg, Shaved Parmesan. Pasta was slightly on the harder side which I prefer. Mushroom was ok. Truffle was detectable. The dish gave me a home-y feel because of the rich, warm creamy sauce. However it became a little overwhelming at the end because of the creaminess. Overall I think it would be better to share this dish.
