One of the few places I go to for my soba fix!

Never fails to satisfy and the standard has remained all these years. Only 2 complains are they replaced miso soup with seaweed soup and the sichimi togarashi powder with this chilli powder that looks like what you have it with prawn noodles.

This place just specialises in gyudon with 2 options of beef, either basic or wagyu. Found the basic to be a tad bit to tough so if your pocket allows for it, go for the wagyu option which you will not regret. It is served with free flow pickles and veggies. Each set also comes with soup, onsen egg and tofu. While it is priced above most gyudon but for the quality and quantity of food that you get, it is definitely worth it.

After eating at many places with some reviewers claiming that value for money barachirashi. I still find that the original Teppei Outlet at Orchid Hotel to be the most value for money. For $17+ you get a hearty bowl of bara, 2 types of appetizer, miso soup and tea!
Only downside is that it is only available for lunch but hey they are open on saturday.

Back here whenever I'm craving for a comforting bowl of gyudon. Like it that it is served with veggies and lightly pickled cucumbers.

Great variety of dons. For the quality and price point (Burpple Beyond) definitely value for money.

Overall it’s yummy and nice and the Japanese chefs were very nice and friendly. Except the server was kinda in a rush I don’t know for what and I am not sure if the burpple beyond 1 for 1 do they always take the lowest value item? Or is it that both items that are the same priced will be the 1 for 1? It’s tasty and no frills nonetheless.
